Chapter 2: Butterflies

"Are you seriously telling me that you bumped into someone of attractiveness and thought he was more attractive than me."Y/N frowned at Jin's harsh voice. Her fingers picked at the couch she was seated on.

"I raised you better than thinking that, especially when he was a jerk to you."

Jungkook crossed his arms and nodded.

"I agree."

Y/N pouted.

"You guys are mean! I already said that I didn't  do anything, it's just that he-"

"-Was different than other people, we know." Jin and Jungkook finished in a monotone voice.

Y/N frowned.

Sure. They mock her. But, they weren't there. They didn't see his face. Or the way he looked at her. Or they way his eyes almost seemed to be pleading for help.

TheY/H/C girl shook her head.

She needed to find out who he was so that she could apologize to him. Even if, technically, she didn't do anything bad, right?

"Okay maybe I have used that excuse a lot."

Jin scoffed.

"Maybe?!"

Jungkook chuckled.

"Hey, at least he was going to talk to you! And he was hot! If I were you I would find him and make myself available."

He said raising his eyes brows in a suggestive motion.

Y/N buried her face in her hands.

"I'm so embarrassed. He probably thinks I'm a freak!"

Jin nodded.

"Probably."

Hoseok elbowed him in the ribs.

Jin groaned in pain.

"I-I mean, no way!"

She looked up at the two.

"You guys are really bad friends."

Jungkook scoffed.

"I'm hurt!"

Jin chuckled and sat on the couch next to Y/N, taking her in his warm embrace.

She frowned as the blond man side hugged her. Jin was always affectionate and loving. He treated the two friends just like they were his younger siblings and Y/N was so thankful for that. Sometimes, she didn't need a boyfriend, or a mom, or a dad. Sometimes she just needed Jin.

"I still love you Y/N!"

Jungkook sat down next to Jin and pouted.

"What am I? Chopped liver?!"

Jin chuckled and brought the boy into his embrace, almost trying to suffocate him.

"Aww, is Kookie not getting any attention."

Jin exclaimed as he smushed his face in his hands.

"Hyung, stop it. My face is not a squishy toy."

Jungkook pushed Jin's hands away from his face.

Y/N smiled fondly at her friends.

"Oh, right." Jungkook spoke, causing Jin to back up and drape one of his arms around Y/N shoulders.

"I have to go back to the school tomorrow for hip hop rehearsals. I need a ride."

Jin shook his head.
