Your chest heaved with heavy breaths as you stared at the man in front of you, body exhausted and currently aching from the seemingly never-ending practice that you had just endured.

Park Jimin was a great teacher..

At least that's what you repeated to yourself as you spun on your pointes countless times.

In all honesty, you really wanted nothing more than you shove the heel of your foot up his nose. He was working you hard. Harder than you have worked in a long time.. It was slightly refreshing to be critiqued and to better yourself...none of your other teachers seemed to find fault in your dancing...but you knew that you were lacking...and you wanted to change that.

Hence, why you asked Dance Master "stick-up-butt" for help.

"Good," Jimin started from the corner of the room as the music came to a stop, his eyes trailing down your form. "You just need to be careful towards the end, your turns are getting sloppy."

You nodded your head in understanding, doing your best to bite back a sarcastic comment that rested on the tip of your tongue.

"Okay." You breathed, grabbing your sweat towel and wiping your face off. "Are we done for the day? I have plans tonight."

The silver-haired male glanced at the clock that rested over the door, his eyes squinting as he read the time.

7:45pm.

His eyes widened slightly.

He didn't think it had been that long. You classes ended at three o'clock and he had only planned to practice until maybe five...he didn't want to wear you out on your first day as his apprentice.

It also shocked him that you never once complained about the length of your session...you barely even spoke at all for that matter...you would only ever nod and agree with whatever he was saying before taking his advice...and dancing again.

"Oh- uhm..yeah. We're finished."

You nodded your head, sighing in relief as you plopped your body down, untying the silk ribbon of your shoes.

Jimin watched you with a tilted head, half-expecting you to send him some kind of remark...or a sideways glance....but you didn't...You kept your mouth shut.

Maybe you were just having an off day..or maybe you were tired, but either way...it wasn't sitting right with Jimin.

"You're awfully quiet today." He said, catching your attention.

You shrugged your shoulders, slipping off your pointe shoes.

"I try not to disrespect my teachers." You deadpanned, reaching into your dance bag and grabbing a pair of socks and sneakers. "And until I walk out that door, you are my teacher."

Jimin's eyebrows raised in amusement at your words, his body taking a step closer.

"You had no problem disrespecting me in class the other day."

You chuckled, beginning to tie your shoe.

"That's because I don't like you." You stated. "Besides, this is different. It's one-on-one and no matter how much I hate to admit it....You didn't have to do this...You didn't have to help me, but you did..so while you're teaching me..I can push aside my personal disgust for you."

He nodded his head, covering his shock with a cocky smile.

"Well, I am truly honored." He said, earning an eyeroll from you.  "Bring your partner to our lesson tomorrow...I will need to evaluate him and see if he is also worth my time."
