"We all have demons,
I just choose to feed mine."
----------------------
It was one hell of a fucked up day.
First, the news declared that a woman had thrown herself off the building near Jinyoung's house.
Then Jinyoung himself saw a car drive straight into a shop near the East Square of the town. The driver had gotten a heart attack – at least, that was what Jinyoung heard after an hour or two from one of his colleagues while they were chatting during lunch.
A fucked up day, not only for those people who got hurt, but also for the people at his company. Their CEO had been in that shop. He hadn't made it.
"Hyung, damn, you look like a zombie. Only you have hair."
Jinyoung looked up from what he had been staring at and saw the face of Seokhyung, his younger colleague. The kid was standing with a pile of papers in his hands and his jacket over his shoulder. His hair was combed neatly like everyone else's hair – at least of the people who worked here – and he was staring at Jinyoung with his bright green – almost yellow – eyes, which made him look like a cat.
Jinyoung raised an eyebrow and pretended to throw his mug at the younger one.
"Thanks for the compliment, asshole. And what are you saying, zombies have hair...""Have you ever seen a zombie though?" Seokhyung asked, wiggling his eyebrows like an idiot. Jinyoung rolled his eyes and turned around to ignore the kid.
"Oi! I wasn't done talking! I wanted to ask you something. Eunmi noona has made a new team since Mr. Bimmock...y'know...a-and she wanted me to ask you to go meet her at the twentieth floor."
That made Jinyoung turn back around. It had been a long time since he had been asked to join the team Eunmi was in and he sure as hell wasn't going to let this opportunity slide.
"Twentieth floor, you said? Which room? I'm going right away, so tell me." He said, quick enough to make Seokhyung notice he was nervous. The kid immediately got a smirk on his face, right when Jinyoung stood up from his chair in a hurry.
"Yah, Seokhyung. Tell up! And while you're at it, get that stupid smirk off your face."
"You like her, don't you?" Seokhyung chuckled.
Jinyoung raised an eyebrow again and crossed his arms, letting out a surprised huff. "Why would you say such a thing?"
"It's so obvious." Seokhyung laughed. He shook his head and took a few papers out of the pile he had been carrying around. He handed them over to Jinyoung, who took them with a big question mark on his face. Seokhyung just shrugged.
"She told me to give you these. Important info about the team maybe? I dunno, but you better get going."
Jinyoung nodded and thanked the kid before walking out of his office and towards the elevator.
There were two other people waiting there for the elevator and Jinyoung nodded at them as a greeting. The two - an older man of probably forty years old with a suitcase as big as Jinyoung's desk and a guy probably around his age with exploded looking hair - muttered something in reply and turned back to the elevator.
Once the elevator stopped, the three of them got inside. Jinyoung was about to press the close button, when he saw someone running for the elevator.
"Woah, I'll hold it." he let out, standing in the doorway. The woman who had been running skidded to a jog and got inside.
