The Time I Was Reincarnated Into My Game

Chapter 1: My time on Earth

The busy sounds of the streets and people echoed through the early morning. A young man opens his eyes when the phone's alarm went off, telling him it was time for work. He turns the alarm off and slowly gets up from his slumber. He gets on his feet and stretches his body to then open the curtains, letting the early bright sun into his room. He feels the warmth of the sun on his skin that fully awakens him.

Adam:"Okay...Shower then breakfast"

He enters his bathroom to take his shower, later he eats his daily toast with jam on it. He puts on formal-work clothes and finally after grabbing his phone, he heads to work.

During his walk to work, he stumbles across his best friend: Riku.

Riku:"Hey Adam"

Adam:"Hey"

Riku:"Having a horrible day already?"

Adam:"I guess you can say that. It's the company we work for that gives me a good enough reason"

Riku:"We did sign up for this. Long hours of programming was our college choice"

Adam:"Hmph"

The lights turn red, letting Adam and Riku walk across the street.

Adam:"It's the ideal fact that they bought my idea for the game. They won't even give me any of the profit it could potentially make"

Riku:"Still, at least they bought you a home and the other essentials with their money. Besides, they allowed you to work on your game"

Adam:"I guess that's true..."

Riku:"Now stop crying. We have work to do"

Once arriving at the company building, Adam and Riku take the elevator to their work level and entered a room full of computers.

Riku:"We're the first ones here"

Adam:"Some quiet time to work on the game"

Riku:"Have fun with that. I'll email you later for lunch"

Adam:"Okay"

Adam sits at his computer and starts working on the game.

Adam:"Another day, the same old bugs"

After working out the bugs and patching anything that would cause issues, it was time for lunch as Riku stood next to Adam.

Riku:"Time for lunch"

Adam:"About time. I could use a break"

Adam stretches when he stood up.

Riku:"Come on, I know a good place"

Adam and Riku have lunch and started discussing the possibility of staying at work overnight.

Adam:"I really don't want to do overnight work"

Riku:"Well? We don't have much of a choice"

Adam:"I know, I know. Just wished my life was more simple"

Riku:"Simple? Like how?"

Adam:"I don't know. I wished I would be in my game's world"

Riku:"You want to live in your game?"

Adam:"At least their isn't this much to handle with. Besides, there's magic to help you do work"
