Chapter eight-
Miranda's POV
I paced back and forth in the waiting room as my mom my dad and a few of Jason's friends sat there, I bit my lip covering my mouth with my hand. Thoughts of sorrow and agony of just seeing Jason hurt swirled in my mind making my mind blank and think about all the things I want to do to Brandon. I'm about one hundred percent sure that Brandon did this to him. I just wanna kill him! Why does he have to hurt everyone I love. "Please sweetie, sit down," My mom said, patting at the empty plastic chair besides me. I looked around the huge waiting room, watching people walk in and walk out of the waiting room. A faint scent of blooming flowers flowed through the room, A tiny vase full of overflowing flowers stood on a small square coffee table in the middle of the room. The sun peaked through its hiding spot behind the gray clouds and shone into the room, lighting up gloomy faces and empty chairs.
I sighed, I sat down and sloughed back, feeling all the pressure go to my shoulders. I extended my legs and crossed my arms across my chest, blowing a little strand of hair off my face. Someone besides me patted my hand softly which lay gingerly on my arm. I moved my face up to see a strong and handsome face, with thin pink lips and dark brown, endless eyes that were sadly covered by dark brown hair. "Your brother will be fine," he whispered, giving me a sorrowful smile that let me have a small glimpse of amazing teeth. I scrunched my eyebrows together giving the hot guy a confused look. "Who are you?" I asked, looking down at his hand which was laid nicely over mine. His fingers seem to fit perfectly onto mine. I moved my gaze back up to his endless eyes that seems to seep right through the wall I built for myself, and to my soul. The wall I built that protected me from everyone but my family.
Pink flooded and took over the guy's cheeks, "Right, My name's Jeremy, Your brother's roommate," He said, eyeing our hands and moving it to behind his head quickly, scratching his head embarrassed. I smiled and slouched even more, letting my hair flow as a screen to hide my face. I could feel the heat rush to my face. Footsteps echoes in the other wise busy hallway. I looked up to see a rather plump doctor with an imp like face a small moustache. He hugged a long clipboard to his body which hung over his pants like a waterfall. "Are you the Parents of Jason?" the doctor asked, making question marks with his beady little eyes. "Yes," my parents said in sync standing in unison and clinging onto each other. One at a time in a perfectly timed line everyone stood up, pulling their shirts down and looking at the doctor with concerning looks. The doctor awkwardly held out his hand, "My name is Dr, Smith. Your Son is fine, but as was your daughter...," he mumbled the last part, making me shrink back in pain leaning away from him, remembering what happened. Jeremy lightly put his hands on my arms and pushed me up a little.
"Sorry," the Doctor mumbled taking his hand back from my fathers hand and looking at his clipboard. "We've just finished surgery on your son. He has two broken rips, and a large gash on his left cheek. He'll have to stay here for a few days but besides that, he should be fine." the doctor said smiling apologetically to all of us, "So, can we see him?" the guys all asked, fidgeting with their shirts. "Of course, follow me," the doctor said, lifting the corner of his dry lips up into a lopsided smile. He turned on a heel and swiftly walked down the huge white hallway. Everyone began to move, some how some of us managed to trip and stumble. "I told you it'll be okay," a husky voice whispered in my ear, giving me sparks that ran down to my fingers and toes. I looked to my side to see Jeremy walking a bit faster then me. I watched him pat my moms arm and whisper apologetic words to her and my dad.
Why does he give me shiver, something new that Brandon never game me...
