Chapter fourteen-

Jeremy's POV

Oh my Gosh, why her, why not me. I watched the Doctor's face as he talked about how she was going to be okay, but she's not, he said she had... Cancer. Abdominal cancer. "She has a twenty three point two percent of survival, but I'm afraid that we've come across the cancer a little to late, we're going to need a blood donor to help with the operation, to see if we can remove some of the tumour, after that we're going to need to give her chemotherapy for about a minimum of three months, and see what we have from there" the doctor explained, using way too many hand gestures. I Prayed, prayed to God for the first time ever, "Please God if your listening, please help Miranda live, please don't take her away from me, not yet. Please, I love her" I begged in my mind. "Sir are u a relative of Miss Miranda," he asked, moving me towards a row of chairs, which I glad took upon, my knees felt weak and numb. "No, sir," I said, a little breathless, thinking about losing Miranda, I can't lose her, I just met her. Please don't leave me Miranda, I thought. I looked up at the doctor sightlessly, "I'm her um, boyfriend." I said, even though I wasn't completely sure about that. The doctor looked at his clipboard then looked back up at me. "Well if you'd like to see her, ill be glad to show you where," The doctor said, spitting at each and every p. "Yes please," I mumbled standing up, and following the middle height doctor, with his gut hanging over his belt.

The doctor led me to a small private room, with everything neatly tucked away in a wooden drawer. Flowers were nicely placed into a tall glass vase which was sitting on the bedside table, giving the room color. I walked in to see Miranda, her eyes glued to the TV, which was turned to sponge bob. I smiled, I haven't seen sponge bob since I was little. The doctor patted my shoulder sympathetically left. Miranda ripped her gaze from the TV and smiled a huge goofy grin, "Hey, I'm sorry about earlier, I'm just a little sick, the stomach flu, but I'm fine," she said, bouncing a little to the side to make room for me.

Did they not tell her what she has... I walked up towards the bed and sat down on the bed, feeling the bed sink. "Hey angel," I whispered nervously, patting her hand, hopping she wouldn't mind me calling her that, "Angel?" she giggled, "I like it," she said looking up at me with her shining green eyes. She leaned her head onto my shoulder and sighed, "I'm sorry about the little spazz attack thingy, I don't know what happened. But I'm fine, the doctors said it was nothing serious, and that I'll be out soon, I can't wait, maybe we can have another coffee date." she said looking up at me, a smile slowly escaped onto her lips.

Oh so they didn't tell her. Poor angel, who's going to tell her... I sighed and ran my fingers through her hair watching her beautiful face zone out as she focused he attention back onto the TV, I hope we can find a cure.

Brandon's POV

I walked down the cold sidewalk watching the last rays of light fall behind the horizon, I've been watching the sunset a lot recently. What on earth happened to my baby girl, I need to check if she's okay. Screw that boy. Who does he think he is, and on a date with my angel! Stupid! I'm going to make that boy wish he was never alive. I stuffed my hands into my pockets and lifted my head to the sky and looked at the stars. I know your looking at the same sky I am, and I just wanted to say, I still love you Miranda before, now and forever I thought, smiling.
