Chapter 7

As soon as they left the room, they saw three hunters around the corner. Liam was getting furious and without thinking he attacked them. He attacked the guy, who was in the middle. He had dark brown hair and green eyes. He looked like he could be in his forties.

The girl next to him started shooting at him, but she never got it right. She misssed every time. She was probably one of the new hunters. Her name was Amelia. She looked like she is only twenty and it didn't seem like she was experienced as well. It looked like she was holding a gun for the first time ever.

When she finally saw Theo attacking another her so called friend, who stood right behind her, she started hitting him and when that didn't work she wanted to run, but she couldn't. They had just injured two of her people, so Amelia had to kill them, at least injure them. She had to get revenge for what they have done, even thought they had always been the ones, who protect people. She made one last shot and this time she didn't miss. After that she ran.

The bullet was flying towards Liam. Without thinking about consequences, Theo ran, took him by his hand and tired to save him. It did work, he saved him from the bullet, but that bullet hit him instead. When Liam realized what happened he wanted to chase Amelia, but she was already gone.

'What the hell were you doing ?' Liam asked and tried to find something that could burn the wolfsbane out. He didn't have much time for that. It was the yellow one. Yellow wolfsbane has the fastest effect, which meas he had to act fast. Faster than ever.

'I was being the bait.' Theo chuckled and slipped down. He couldn't stand on his legs anymore. At this point he was sitting on the floor, trying to catch a breath.

' Damn it, Theo. Why did you have to do that ? Why ? Just why ?'Liam was worried about him and this worry made him angry, so he ended up screaming at him. No matter what, he didn't wanna see Theo dying. Not now and not like this.

'Liam, calm down. I'll be fine. Go find her.' it was getting hard for him to talk and his eyes felt heavy. He wanted to close them, but he heard Liam repeating to him that he can't close his eyes. No matter what happens he can't rest his eyes.

'Wait, just a little. Don't close your eyes. I'll be back soon, just don't close them.' Laim was now sitting in front of him. He wanted to say that he actually cares about him and he doesn't hate him that much as he always says, but he couldn't. This couln't be the end. Doesn't matter what this is, but not the end. Anything, but not the end.

Liam told him to stay awake and looked at him for one last time and went away to find something that could burn the wolfsbane out of him. Theo wasn't able to speak anymore, so he simply looked at Liam and smiled a little, just enough for Liam to notice.
