Chapter 9

The darkness started to fade away, the fog slowly disappeared and the sun started to shine. It was finally morning. This horrible night had ended.
Everyone was back at Scott's house and everyone seemed to handle the situation and no one had any big injuries.
'So are you saying that you killed only a part of Anuk-Ite ? What does that even mean ?' Liam didn't know anything about this thing called 'Anuk-Ite'.
All he knew was that it somehow managed to escape the Wild Hunt and was now with them. This thing or creature, or whatever it is made people afraid. That was the reason why everyone so desperately wanted to kill them.
'It is called  'Two Faces' as well. Basically it has two halfs and it wants to find the other one, because they are stronger together. Together they are almost unstoppable. Tonight we caught only one if it's half.' Scott was trying to explain everything as clearly as he can.
'Which means....?' Liam still didn't understand a lot about this creature.
'People are still afraid, but this creature is not that strong anymore.' Stiles spoke up and as always he already was thinking about some solutions.
...
'I can drive you home.' Theo suggested, when the meeting had ended.
'Never expected to see you this decent.' Liam laughed about it and went to his car.
'You know that I actually really appreciate that...thing...you did in the hospital, um...thanks for that.' Theo said after a small silence. He genuiely was grateful. He knew that not many people would care about him enough to help him.
'I feel like you're the one, who saved me, you know...you took that bullet...' Liam didn't really know what to say. When he was with Theo, he never knew what to say. Liam doesn't even remember when he started to feel this nervous around him. It just sort of happened. He was scared that he might mess up, but then again- why would he have to care so much about what Theo thinks ?
'Why did you take that bullet ? Liam finally asked. He wanted to know, but he didn't know how to ask that, so he just demanded that straight up.
'You always talk about how much you hate me and how you're gonna use me as a bait, so that's what I did - I was being the bait. The others need and care about you more anyways, so..'
He couldn't finish his sentence, because Liam interrupted him:'So what ? No one actually hates you that much, if you didn't notice! You don't think that nobody would care if were dead, do you ?' at this point Liam was shouting at him. He hated the thought that Theo could actually be dead.
'Since when you care that much ?' Theo tried to laugh it off, but he couldn't.
Something hit him.
