Chapter 18

'Why did you stop the car ?' Liam finally asked after a while of just staring out of the window and not really realising what's going on.

'Tell me,' Theo didn't know where to start:'What's going on ? You have been acting so weird lately.'

Liam was looking at Theo and had no clue on what to say.He would have never expected Theo to be so caring and interested in him.

'Nothing, I'm fine..' Liam tried to move his hand closer to his, so their bodies would touch, at least a little. Liam knew for sure that Theo is something more than just a crush for him.

'Please, Liam, don't lie to me. I know I've done things I shouldn't have and I'm sorry for that. I just wanna help you... Let me help you, at least for once.' Theo didn't mind Liam's hand next to his. His voice even got shaky and his body filled with some weird excitement.

Liam didn't know what's going on now. He was confused about what Theo just have said. Theo didn't try to pull his hand away as well. Liam knew that he wanted something more than just 'almost holding hands, but not really'. But he would never dare to make a move. He was afraid of rejection, of being made fun and of ruining everything. He didn't want to talk about what's so wron as well. Liam sat in silence, hoping that Theo would just give up on this question and restart driving.

'Damn it, Liam, I never meant to be such a fool for you.' Theo broke down the silence between them.

Liam couldn't believe what Theo just said , he couldn't believe his words.

'What do you mean by that ?' Liam turned to Theo and he sounded afraid. He was out of words.

Theo didn't say anything and just pulled into Liam. Their lips touched. Theo started kissing Liam more passionately than he planned to. 

Liam couldn't  resist his warm, soft lips. He loved the taste of his mouth. Shivers were running through his whole body and he couldn't breath normally. His breath was shaky and lips numb. He had never wanted anyone more than he wanted Theo. Liam didn't know what to do with his arms, so he just put the behind Theo's shirt and tried to touch and remember every single part of Theo's body.

Theo couldn't stop kissing Liam, he couldn't pull away. It felt like they were some kind of magnets pulling each other closer and closer by every kiss.  Theo hadn't felt like this before. He had never been so vulnerable to someone. He tried to kiss Liam carefully and passionately at the same time. He was scared of ruining something. He couldn't get enough of this. He felt Liam's heart beat going crazy through his shirt. Theo didn't want this moment to stop.

This small kiss Theo wanted to give Liam turned into making out and running out of breth. When Theo couldn't breath anymore he pulled back and kept looking at Liam. He couldn't believe what he just had done. He had always been afraid of doing this, but now he finally did it - he kissed him.

'What was that for ?' Liam asked with a smile on his face. He tried to normalise his breath and his lips were still numb.

'Just tell me - do you really feel something towards me or you did it just for fun ?' Theo was serious. He was afraid of getting hurt. Theo knew that after what just had happened there's no way back. He couldn't simply forget it all and move on like 'it' never happened.

'I like you, I actually like you a lot...' Liam was a little scared to talk about his feelings:' What about you ? You don't feel the same, do you ?' Liam started doubting Theo's feelings for him. He could have done it just for fun or just to try it out. That sounded more like 'Theo'.

'I have never felt so vulnerable. I have never felt this was  towards someone, you dumbass. Why wouldn't I feel the same ? I didn't save you all these times because I hated you.' Theo felt relieved that Liam feels the same, but the fact that Liam questioned his feelings made him nervous. He wanted Liam to believe him. He didn't want to lose him.

'I don't know... I just felt like you -don't do love- if that makes sense..' Liam looked out of the window, trying to escape an eye contact.

'Liam..You make me feel things and I want to be with you. I don't care what it costs. Believe me.' 

'Are you serious ?' Liam looked at him. He stilll couldn't believe that Theo actually feels the same.

'Yes, Liam. Is it really that hard to believe me ? Theo chuckled a little, just like he always does.

' We should talk about it later. We are sort of late. Just know that we will figure everything, that we need to, out. 'Liam was happy and there finally was nothing big to worry about, not at this moment, when he's next to Theo:' Know that we will find a way to be whatever we want  to.' Liam finished his sentence.

'We will always find a way. ' Theo said quietly and started the car. 

While they were driving Theo held Liam's hand and didn't let go of it, not even for a second.
