I Don't Love You

Do I?

****** One Year Later ******  

Frank and I had been dating a year now and we were extremely happy, I never thought I could be this happy again but Frank changed that, he was amazing and so kind to me, I was so grateful to have him. 

It was the last day of school before we left for winter break and Frank would go with me to Florida, I was so excited!. 

We were walking around the campus holding hands and we made our way to the restaurant where Ray and Mikey were waiting for us to eat. 

So I'll see you after school at the apartment? - I asked. 

- Yes, I have everything packed and ready.- He grinned. 

- Okay, i talked with Gee and the guys. They're gonna drop us off at the airport, they'll be by at 8pm.-  He stopped and pulled me towards him and gave me a kiss that made ​​my knees buckle. 

- Woah, what was that for?.-

- Because, you are the most beautiful girl in the whole entire campus and I am very lucky to have you by my side.-

He hugged me and kissed me on the forehead,

We keep joking all the way up to the restaurant where the guys were waiting for us. We arrived at the restaurant and i didn't hear anything, It was weird since it was Friday and it was the most crowded restaurant by students. 

- Where is everyone?.- I asked Frank and he just smiled at me. 

- Just wait and see.- 

He took off the tie he was wearing and blindfolded me. He took my hand and kissed me on the cheek and led me the rest of the way. 

- Ready?.-

- Frank, what's happening??.- I asked a little nervous.

He didn't answer, he just took off his tie and i opened my eyes. 

- HAPPY BIRTHDAY HELENA!!-

All my friends were there, congratulating me. 

-¡Wow !, Really thank you guys shouldn't have bothered, my birthday isn't for another week. 

- We know.- Gee said, hugging his girlfriend Lynz, they didn't have a lot time together but looked very happy. 

- But since you and Frank are going to Florida for Christmas, we wanted to celebrate before you guys left.- Bob said and gave me a hug. 

We celebrated all afternoon. We danced, joked around and talked, before everyone else left, Frank asked for everyone's attention. He put his arm around my waist and began to speak. 

- Guys your attention please, first of all want to thank you all for coming today to celebrate with us, you are all very important to us, you all are like our family and i wanted everyone to be a part of what i hope will be a great adventure. 

Frank let me go and knelt, Ray came over and gave him a small black box with a purple bow. 

- Oh, God. . . - I squeaked.

- Helena, i know a year doesn't seem like a very long time . . . . but I feel like I've known all my life and I love being with you. . . . and I never want to be part from you. . . . umm. . . . I love. . . . and I wanted. . . . Will you marry me?-

I kept quiet, i didn't know what to say to Frank. 

** I love him and i've been extremely happy this year . . . But what about Ville?? I hadn't thought of him at all and Frank had helped me in not feeling guilty about what had happened and how Ville had hurt me. But what's gonna happen if he wakes up? I made him a promise. * *

I turn to see our friends, they were very surprised by what Frank had me asking, Lynz had a big smile and nodded but Mikey looked at me with a worried look, during this time Mikey had become my confidant, my best friend and he knew the truth, that a part of me that was still loved Ville even if it was very small.

This past year my dad had visited him several times like i had asked him to but he never gave me good news when I asked, and one day just quit asking, apparently I had forgotten about it, until today. 

- I know that we are still very young but I cannot live without you, I promise that I will do everything i can so you can be happy with me and have everything you'll ever need. -

- Yes Frank, I'll marry you.- I replied with a big smile. 

I had erased all those bad thoughts I had about Ville, his vital signs diminished as time went on and i was really happy with Frank, i love him. 

We arrived at the airport and proceed to the boarding gate, we started to say goodbye to our friends. 

- Congratulations guys! I hope that you're very happy.- Bob said as he gave us a big hug. 

- I was so excited!! Frank told me what he was doing and i helped! I hope you didn't get upset for not telling you, but he made ​​me swear! .- lynz I said. 

- Of course not Lynz, I'm glad you helped.- I replied giving her a hug. 

Mikey came over to congratulate me and we parted a little group. 

- You're sure you want to marry Frank?, You're both my friends and I wouldn't want to see you guys split up for some reason, you look great together but I i know you still have feelings for Ville. -

- I know Mikey and I feel really for it believe me,but I'm sure about my decision and I'm sure my love for Frank is only going to grow. -

- I'm sure that it will, take care and if you need to talk or anything call me. -

I gave him a hug and said goodbye. Frank and I boarded the plane to Florida, i was very excited, i couldn't wait to give the good news to my dad.
