jail time

Keith's POV

I just kept running and I hid in a alleyway and i see cops run by so i take a deep breath and come out only to be thrown against a wall with my hands being cuffed behind me and the snack and drink fall out of my hoodie. "Shit..." the cop Pat's me down then brings me to the cop car and they bring me to the police station and put me in a holding cell.

Time skip

"Look Kyla this isn't your first time in this place so we're not letting you off with a warning this time young lady." I look down. "Sir please dont put me in juvie j-just call my foster parents they can punish me just I c-cant go back there." I beg and the officer just looks at me. "You should have thought about that before you stole and on Christmas day too that's just awful. But come with me we'll give you one call before we put you in your cell you'll be staying in for the next month." He unlocks the cell and takes me out and brings me to a phone and uncuffs me so I rub my wrists. "Umm I dont know anyone's number...." he rolls his eyes and goes to cuff me again "wait I remember one now." I laugh nervously and I call the number I think is either shiro's or Adam's. "You have ten minutes." The cop says and leaves the room. I push call.

"Hello Lance speaking"

"Lance please its Keith and I'm going to be heading to juvie in about 9 minutes."

"WHAT!?! Keith why the hell are you going to juvie."

"What give me the phone.. hello Keith are you there?"

"Yes Adam so I might have you know run away and I got thirsty and hungry so I stole from a gas station and of course this isn't my first criminal offense so they're sending me to juvie for a month.... and dont worry about me it's not my first time so I guess I'll see you in a month."

I say then hang up then the cop comes in and takes me away.

Lance's POV

"He's going to juvie well what one is he going to can we just go get him we cant just leave him there!?" I start freaking out. "Lance just calm down and go and enjoy your Christmas with your family while we're trying to get a way to get Keith back." "What no he is my boyfriend I'm not gonna just pretend he's good and safe!" Their mouths drop. "Boyfriend!?!" They both say in suprise. "You didnt see the hickey's on his neck?" Shiro rubs his temple's. "Hickey's you gave him hickey's he is practically are son!!!" Adam yells and shiro trys to calm him down. "Lance you're as good as dead." Shiro covers his mouth before he can say more. "Honey it's fine we should have expected this to happen" shiro says in a calm voice. Adam just flails his arms in anger cussing beside shiro's hand. "Are you done now?" Adam nods so shiro takes his hand off of his mouth. "Have you two you know?" "What no I mean I wanted to but Keith didnt and I didnt force him to do anything he doesn't want to do... no can we go find Keith and stop talking about are relationship." "Hes right we need to find Keith everyone get in the car." He says and we all get in the car and start are search.

Keith's POV

I just got strip searched now I'm putting on a orange jumpsuit then I get cuffed and brought back to the girls juvenile center its lunch time so I just get uncuffed and I sit at a table. "What're you in for?" A girl asks sitting next to me then more girls surrounded me. "Petty theft you?" The big girl smirks. "I stabbed a kid so what did you do before to get you in here just for petty theft?" I gulped "well I almost beat a kid to death because I was sick of his bullying bull shit." The girls all smile. "That a girl so how long you in for?" The girls start eating. "A month." They laugh "that's it?!?" He all shout at once. On girl touches my neck. "So you got yourself a boy or are you a lesbian like me oh and I'm Sarah by the way." I cover my neck. "Boyfriend and I'm Keith." "Your mama gave you a boy's name!" They start laughing. "Well actually I picked the name I'm trans..." Sarah looks at me with a smirk. "We're gonna have fun with this one" is all she says before she punches me in the gut I try to stand up to fight back but she punches me to the ground. "I thought you were a fighter?! "I cough up blood and wipe my mouth then they start kicking my stomach and I get one more punch to the face and get knocked out.

Lance's POV

We finally found the juvie he's in and we go inside and ask to see Keith. "I'm sorry she's knocked out in the Infirmary." The guard says lazily. And I start to freak out as the guard gets a call. "Ok she woke up you can visit for a half an hour." He says and presses the button to let us in and he leads us back to a visiting booth and we see a beat up Keith being cuffed to the table and we pick up are phone and he picks up his. "What the hell happened to you!?" We all yelled at Keith. "I'm fine just some girls roughed me up a bit it doesn't matter..." "doesn't matter you have a splint on your nose and a huge black eye!" I yell "so I got a few broken bones I'm fine I've been through worse beating by some other foster parents..." we look at Keith with sad eyes "we're gonna get you out of here we brought money for bail." He lays his head down on the table. "The bail is set at 5 grand it's not worth it I'll be fine in here for a month." I can see how scared he is just by looking in his eyes. "Listen Keith its are fault your in this mess so we're gonna bail you out." Adam and shiro say "I'm the one that ran away and stole stuff so no it's not your fault dont waist your money on me." "Kyla times about up!" We hear a guard yell. I see him cringe when his birth name is said "yes sir...um guys I should probably go please dont waste your hardly earned money on me I'm truly not worth it...and Lance you should go be spending time with your family have a good Christmas not talking to me behind bullet proof glass..." "what Keith no you're important to me and I get to spend every Christmas with them so I'm gonna be here for you today....I love you." The guard puts the phone away before he hears the I love you and brings him back to his cell.
