The cold wind blew back my dirty blonde hair, making me slightly shiver.

It was late october, and the weather was cold.

Its been a few months since my dad attacked me, for the second time.

And that was when he almost killed Ross Lynch, my ex-boyfriend.

Oh, sorry. I'm Alexis Tomas. Second most powerful super-human known in all the galaxys.

I'm almost 17, 5'6, light brown hair that fell past my shoulders, and bangs that went off to the left side of my face, dull hazel eyes. But everyone says their beautiful.

I'm normal.

Well, as normal as NORMAL can get.

*sigh*

When my dad attacked the city a few months ago, he almost killed Ross, so I had to break up with him. To keep him safe.

It wasnt easy, but I had to do it, for him.

Ever since then, I've been in and out of depression, axiety, and way more stuff that would take forever to name.

Yeah, I'm a hot mess.

I though letting him go would help both of us.

But its like I can feel his emotions. And mine at the same time, so both of the together, can really make you want to dig out your brains with a spoon.

After I left Ross, I moved into a small apartment, 30 miles from Ross.

It was to painful to stay with my mom, so I had to move.

The apartment wasnt so big, one bedroom, bath, a tiny kitchen, and a living room that was only big enough for a TV and couch.

But, it worked.

I was walking home from my day shift at this small cafe.

It didnt pay much, but it also worked.

My life has been a living hell since my dad.

I would have an emotional almost everyday since the attack.

But now that its been a couple if months, my emotional breakdowns, have been cut down to a few times a week.

My brain is literaly fighting against me.

Anyway, it was 8PM, and I was walking home in the dark.

Because I didnt have enough money to buy the old yellow/cream bug that I wanted.

Another cold breeze came though, making a shiver go up my spine.

I had to walk a few blocks to get to my apartment.

When I finaly the old place they call a building, I let out a sigh.

Then when I got to the door, I slid my key into the door, and opened it. Leading to a hole bunch of stairs.

My place was about 3 stories up.

I sighed and begun the walk.

I wasnt in the mood to walk, but since this old bump hasnt had the old elevator fixed, and it broke down sometimes durning the 1990's, I had no choice but to walk.

Once I got to my floor, I walked to my door and took out my keys.

"Evenin, darlin." I heard someone say behind me.

I turned to see John Mathews. He smelled like beer, old fish, and body odor, times three. He was the old creep of the building.

He was also a pervert. Yeah, when ever he got the chance, he would check me out.
