"I see the way you two look at each other." Evan said looking from me to Ross. "That kind of love, never disapears. Never let it go, hold on to each other, like your life depends on it, no matter the cause."

Tears lined my eyes.

I looked over to Ross, to find him already looking at me.

His eyes were soft, showing that he cared for me.

I gently smiled at him.

Ross grabbed my head, and gently placed a kiss on my forehead.

Evan looked at us with adoriation.

"Go, finished what needs to be finished." Evan pushed us on.

Ross adjusted the strap of his bag on his shoulder.

I gave one last look toward Evan while we walked toward and out the door.

He gave me a gentle wave, then we went down the hallway, entered the car, and drove.

****************

"You have a plan?" Ross asked from the drivers seat.

I turned to see him looking at the road, speeding like there was no tomorrow.

"Ugh," I started.

Ross looked over to me again, his eyebrows creased together.

"I'm working on that." I said looking out the window.

I heard him chuckle.

"Think as you go?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Something like that." I responded.

He laughed again.

He placed his hand in mine.

"What ever happens, nothing comes between us." he looked me straight in the eyes.

I gave his hand a little squeeze, and nodded my head.

"Nothing." I smiled.

He brought my hand to his lips, and gave me a small kiss.

"Okay," Ross said. "Lets show those bastards what we're made of."

---

Ross pulled up in front of Ratliffs house forty minutes later.

Ross ran out and got him.

Soon they both came back to the car.

"Lexy." Ratliff said.

"Hello, Rat." I called him by his nickname.

He laughed.

"Nice to see you to." Ratliff laughed.

I smiled.

"Okay, plan?" Ratliff broke the silence.

I looked over at Ross.

Ross gave me the same look.

"Nothing, huh?"

I shook my head.

"Nope."

"Not a thing." Ross said.

Ratliff nodded his head.

"Okay, love these plans."

Ross and I busted up laughing.

Ratliff looked at us like we were crazy.

He was right, though.

Ratliff layed his hands behind his head, and let out a long sigh.
