Perviously on 'I am the Fire Angels other half':

"I'm sorry."

"Stop!" I shouted. "Stop saying your sorry when you dont mean it! if you are sorry then let me GO!"

"I cant!" he shouted back, standing up. "Cant you see that? If I do let you go, that leg would get infected, so bad that we would have to cut it off! I'm doing this for you! I know you hate me but I cant stand the thought of losing you! You think your the only one hurt? NO, your not. I get hurt, people get hurt. Its not just about you, Alexis!"

I could feel my eyes wide open.

This was one of the few times that I've seen Ross mad.

I think this might be the first.

By the time he was done, his chest was heaving up and down.

His eyes lighted the fire.

His fists clenched by his sides.

He stood there, and we were in silence.

The tension was so thick that you could put it in a jar.

After a minute of us looking at one another, Ross ran a hand through his hair, then he sighed.

He started to back up, tears in his eyes once again, and he walked toward and out the door.

I could feel my heart beat against my chest.

---

Ross didn't visit me for another three weeks.

I heard from Riker, that he would come when I was sleeping.

And everyday, another piece of my heart broke off.

And it seems like everytime my heart does break off a piece, they all go into another world.

Leaving me behind.

I let out a sigh as I watched some chessey soap opera as I layed in my bed

Still in the main head quarters.

But Riker switched me to another room, right inside of the lab, 'just to be sure' he said.

Mrs. silver came three hours ago.

She seemed to hate me more now.

Still, I hated her to.

I saw Riker walk into the room.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" he asked.

"Fine." I said.

Riker nodded and wrote something on his clip board.

He then started checking the mechines.

"How's Ross?" I asked.

"He's fine. Been doing a lot more training then normal." Riker went back to his clip board.

I simple nodded.

Once Riker was done, he said good bye and left.

I was alone, again, just to the TV.

Which had nothing good on.

Plus, it was hooked onto a VHS, and they had no movies for it.

Some guy on the TV looked fimilar.

He looked like Lucas.

It wasn't him, but still.

I thought about the hole fight, and how Lucas was there.
