And hour and a half later, I was walking toward my apartment.

After me and Ross had a very emotional talk, they let me go.

And I was more than happy to leave.

I walked up the same flight of stairs, and walked to the same door.

Once I got my keys, I opened the door to my dark apartment.

I sighed as I closed the door and took off my sweater.

Then I reached for the small lamp by the door, and flicked it on.

When someone said from behind me:

"Well, its been a while. Hasnt it, love?"

*********

I slowly turned around to see Lucas.

"How did you get in?" I asked.

"A god has his ways." He smirked.

I slowly nodded.

"What do you need?" I asked another question.

"Well, arent we just cerious today." He said.

"Well, when someone breaks into my apartment, yeah, I want to know whats going on." I shot back.

He smiled.

"I've always loved girls with attitudes." He sat down on the small couch.

"Decent place." he said laying his arms on the top of the couch. "My place is better though."

"Um, thanks?" I said walking to my kitchen.

"No problem, love."

He kept calling me 'love'.

It was getting annoying.

"Whats up with the hole 'love' thing?" I asked, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Why, you dont like it?" he asked right behind me.

I quickly turned around to see him right behind me.

So close that our noses almost touched.

"I, um..." I had a lost for words.

He slowly smirked.

"I seem to have that affect on people." He whispered.

My eyes widend.

Then I slowly gulped.

I looked to the floor, and fiddeled with the bottle in my hands.

"Wheres your boy-friend?" he asked, finally walking away.

I let out a breath of relief.

"Ross? hes not my boy-friend." I said gulping down some water.

He turned to face me.

"So, your single?" he asked, his eye brows raised.

I nodded.

Then wiped the water that was running down my chin.

He watched as I did this, like it was the most fasinating thing in the world.

"Yeah, I'm single." I said after a while when he didnt talk.

This seemed to take him out of his trance.

"Good." he simply said before walking back out of the room.
