Shane's POV

Life sucks when your blind. Well, there are good times but the bad times really outweigh the good ones. Such as when I have to eat, I can't see anything. But the worst is not getting to see the love of your life everyday how you used to. It's like your just surrounded by darkness, like your sleeping. The good thing is, you still have dreams. I can see Joey in them, although his face is almost a blur. I forget how his nose looks or his lips, but I can never forget how his eyes look. They're my favorite feature on him.

Joey: Shane let's go! We need to get you dressed.

Joey announced and I sighed. I couldn't dress myself since I dind't know what I was putting on, so Joey, being the amazing boyfriend he is, puts clothes on me everytime I need to be dressed. I felt Joey leading me to our bedroom, I honestly forgot how it looked like. I don't remember the color of the sheets, or how many pillows we had on the bed.

I felt my shirt being taken off, me getting self concious even after all the times he's done this, and my pants being taken off too. I felt a button up being put on me, each button pressing into my chest with its closing.

Joey: White button up.

I heard Joey rustle in the closet, looking around for my pants, probably. I jumped as I felt Joey's breath on my crotch, him laughing.

Joey: Don't worry no blowjobs hun. Just had to get on my knees to put on your pants.

Joey laughed, putting each leg through it's appropriate slot. He zipped up my zipper and patted my bum.

Joey: Alright babe, you're good.

I could almost feel the smile that Joey had on. I reached out for him, my hands hitting his arms, and I hugged him tight.

Shane: I don't deserve you.

Joey: You say that everytime baby. And my answer is always that I don't deserve you. Now come on, we have to go to a party. I'll go fetch your glasses babe.

I nodded, hearing how Joey started walking away. I stood in my spot, darkness my only company. It's nice, since darkness is quite alluring and soothing. No worries, no harm. Nothing. I leaped as I felt Joey's hand on my back assuring.

Joey: Still jump when I touch you hmm? You gotta get used to me eventually sweetie.

Joey laughed, giving me my sunglasses. I put them on, concealing my closed eyes.

Joey: You know you don't have to put those-

Shane: It'll scare people Joey. No, I want to put them on. I don't want people to be scared of me. That's the last thing I want.

Joey: Baby, no one will-

Shane: Joey I'm fine really. I don't mind wearing them.

Joey sighed but I don't know what he did next. He grabbed my arm, telling me we're going to the party. I got into the car with a little trouble, but other than that it was fine. We drove for a long time, slightly weird since Meghans house wasn't far from our house. We soon came to a stop.

Joey: I'll be right back babe.

Joey announced, pecking my cheek and I heard him slamming the car door. I hummed confused, not sure where we were. About ten minutes later, I assumed, Joey came back into the car, breathing heavily.

Shane: Woah you ok? Where did you go! You could've been beaten up and I wouldn't have known about it!

Joey laughed and I frowned. This wasn't very funny.
