A Bowsette Tale

Thwomps and Bombs

-Land of Dragons-

She was looking at Bowser, who despite him being bigger than her, was shaking in fear. "I would NEVER lie to you Bowsette!" His voice was quaking. "Why would I?"

"When did you learn about my friend?" She asked. "You show up a few hours after I found out. How is it that you seemed to know about it before I did?"

"I have more spies. They are all over this world." He seemed to be reaching for anything. "I wouldn't trick you."

She looked at him hard. 'He is still hiding things from me. But maybe I am over thinking this.' She turned away from him. "Fine. So how do you plan to stop the Brothers from hurting anyone else?"

"With me." A whimsical voice answered. Bowsette looked and there was Shy-Gal with a giant grin. "I will fight them. Maybe kill them."

Bowsette knew Shy-Gal and understood her to be soft. Bowsette could only scoff at her. "How?" Suddenly, Shy-Gal was right there. Bowsette barely had time to react and when she did, she could have been dead. "I see." The two knives in her hands were at her throat and belly. "Fast and enhanced with magic." They relaxed. "So you are going to just kill them?"

Shy-Gal was still smiling, twirling a knife in her hand. "Maybe...or maybe not. Depends on what I am asked."

Bowsette grinned. "You will only hurt them enough to bring them here for me."

"Aww...I don't want to do that..." Shy-Gal looked disappointed. Then she looked into Bowsette's eyes and felt that thing called fear as Bowsette turned serious and her power surged. "Yeah, that sounds good too." She stepped back and swallowed 'Wow...I have seen power before, but that...that is something else. Now she could beat ME!'

-New Donk City Library-

"There isn't too much else in here Mario." Paulina said as she combed through the records. "The old Princesses weren't kept on the books that well. But if they also got their title by these Super Crowns, then there is no real way for us to keep up with everything."

Mario nodded. "It was worth a shot." He looked at the small list of Princesses they had encountered already. 'Chomp, Bill, Plant, Shy, Blooper...that leaves Thwomp, Bob-omb and Boo. Only three we need to find.' He stood and smiled. "Thank you for everything Paulina. We owe you big time."

She smiled. "Oh no worries. Daisy was happy to see Luigi by the way. She is glad to see that he is doing well."

"Does she want to get back together?"

Paulina frowned. "No. She...well, she isn't wanting to get back together with him. Just wants to be friends." She looked at Mario. "Please let him know?"

He nodded as they exited the library. "Again, thank you very much."

"If you are going to Thwomp, be careful. She hates new people."

-Thwomp Land-

It was flat plains. Pounded flat from years of the Thwomps rolling, pounding or slamming the ground to move. They were once just stones, rocks. One day, the Koopas needed a nearly indestructible ally and cast a spell on the rocks, thus the Thwomps were 'born'. A Super Crown was added one day and Thwompette was born. Unlike the others, nobody had ever seen her.

Luigi looked at the flat plains and sighed. "Ok, so we just need to get to the castle." He saw the rolling Thwomps keeping an eye out with the slow moving walking walls. "Could we use the blocks like before?"

Mario saw the old question blocks that floated around the world. They were handy in a pinch and could stop just about anything, even a Thwomp. "Maybe. We still need to be careful. They look like they are waiting for us."
