A Bowsette Tale

Dragons Wrath

Luigi peeked at Koopa's Keep. The Koopa's had gathered in great numbers. Booette copied his stance. "So, how do you normally do this?" She asked him. "I haven't been on adventure before."

He looked at her. "Really? No monster tried to kidnap you?"

She looked like she was going to cry. "No, that monster killed me and destroyed my Kingdom. I turned into a Boo after that." She then tapped the Super Crown. "When they learned who I was before, they turned me into their Queen!" She smiled. "Now nobody tries to take me!"

He nodded. "What was your name before."

"I don't remember. It has been a while." She smiled again, but it was out of embarrassment. "I don't even remember my old Kingdom." She awkwardly chuckled and rubbed the back of her head. "I don't know how long it has been."

"Oh." He felt bad and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I am very sorry."

She smiled lightly. "It's fine Luigi. Like I said, it has been a long time." She opened her eyes. She felt alive again. "Well, at least we can help keep Bowsette from ruining the world." Then she gasped with a smile. "And we have some help!" She pointed and Luigi saw Yoshi, Chompette and Toad. "This could be fun!" She waved at them.

Luigi nodded and pumped his fist. "Then let's do this!"

Mario was led by six, eight foot Dragon guards. They were waiting for him at the village when he walked out of the portal. They took him to Bowsette right away. In the throne room, there was Bowsette (of course) sitting on one of the two thrones, Bowser to her left and Peach to his left. Bowsette was tapping the arm rest with her claw like nail. She was tapping very hard as the sound echoed through the whole room. The guards left and Mario walked up to her. When he reached to bottom of the stairs, he kneeled. "Queen Bowsette."

She didn't speak at first, her anger growing as was the heat of the room. Her very will made the lava boil. Then she barred her teeth. "You DARE come here WITHOUT MY FIREND!?!" She yelled and shot up, smoke came from her mouth and steam came visible from her shoulders. She was clearly very upset. "WHERE IS MY FRIEND!!!!!????!!!!!"

He felt his body shaking from fear. He felt a fight was bound to happen no matter what. "As I told you before, we had no idea who you were talking about." He dared to look at her. "You took Peach for no reason and allowed Bowser to trick you." She fumed more. "But we looked for your friend, meeting the other Princess's. They told us that you had never done this before. Even when they attacked us, we hoped to learn more about your friend. We finally met Booette." At the mention of her best friend's name, Bowsette calmed down, she looked like she might have smiled if she wasn't to upset. "She told us that only Draco's safety could make you act like this." He lowered his head. 'Though it is strange to think she would lose her mind to him. It's normally the other way around.'

She hardened once more at the mention of Draco. It was as if none could ever speak his name. "So where is he?" She growled. "Where did you take my friend?"

"Bowser took him!" Mario pointed. "We never even heard of you OR Draco until you guys showed up at the party! We had no idea that the Land of Dragons existed, or even that Bowser had a sibling!"

She began to shake. "Stop...lying...to...me." She darkly said. A dark aura glowed around her. "Tell me where he is, and you will not die."

Mario fell to his butt as he watched her seemingly change. He didn't know what she was like before, but the way her friends talked about her, this wasn't her. It was as if she was possessed. He loved Peach, but this kind of love...this attachment to someone was something else. Was it because they were a perfect match? Was it because he was powerful and gave her what she wanted? Or was it just who she really was deep down?
