10 : Movie

Y/N POV

I entered the house, thankful that my roommates weren't home. I set the bags down on the counter. I quickly put everything away, and plopped down on the couch. I pulled out my phone and texted Younghyun, thanking him for walking me home. Just as I read his reply, Yoonhyun and Misun walked through the door, Misun's cousin Tria clinging to her arm.

Misun's aunt had asked her to babysit Tria for a while today. Their family was visiting from America. Tria was 9, and was staying with us for the day while her parents were out on a date. Luckily Misun had been learning English and Yoonhyun and I had learned a little.

"Guess what video we rented!" Yoonhyun said in English.

"Totoro!" Tria squealed.

Misun and Tria plopped down on the couch, while Yoonhyun went to start the movie. I got up and walked to the kitchen to make popcorn. After it finished, I poured the popcorn into a big bowl, and walked with it back to the living room.

"What do you guys want to drink," I said handing the bowl of popcorn to Tria. I had completely forgotten that she doesn't know Korean so Misun translated.

"I would go for beer, but since Tria's here I'll settle for coke," Yoonhyun said.

"I'll take a sprite and Tria want juice," Misun told me. I walked back to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I grabbed a coke for Yoonhyun, a sprite for Misun, the last juice for Tria, and a iced americano for me. I walked back to the living room and placed all the drinks on the coffee table. Everyone took their drinks and Yoonhyun started the movie.

After a while I started to drift away from the movie and started to think about the conversation I had with Younghyun earlier. We had talked about ourselves, and I had gotten to know more about him. He's 25, a year older than me, the same age as Yoonhyun. He has 4 roommates, Jae, Sungjin, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Jae's 26, and the oldest. Sungjin is only a few months older than Younghyun. Both Jae and Sungjin are musicians. Wonpil is my age, 24, and is currently a piano teacher. Dowoon is 23 and is still in college, majoring in music.

Younghyun owns the photography shop I went to, and Soojin is his assistant. Soojin is a college student who majors in photography. He likes webtoons, food, and movies, like me. He also said that he's a good dancer and according to his roommates is a living dictionary. He's known Jae, Sungjin, Wonpil, and Dowoon for about 3 years. He seems really nice.

"Hey, Y/N is there more popcorn?" Misun asked, startling me.

"O-oh, yeh. I'll go make more," I replied, awkwardly. I got up, taking the empty bowl from Misun. I walked to the kitchen and started to make more. Once the popcorn finished I gave Misun the full bowl.

I was about to sit back down when my phone rings. Walking back to the kitchen, I check the caller ID. Younghyun. I quickly run up the stairs and into my room, a smile on my face.
