11 : Phone Call

A/N: Long Chapter Ahead

Y/N POV

I ran into my room, closing the door behind me. Plopping down on my down, I quickly answered his call. "Hey, what's up?"

"Hey so I was wondering...are you free tomorrow? I wanted to see if we could meet up, and you know...get to know each other."

"Um...one sec. Let me check my schedule," I said getting up and walking to my desk. I flipped open my planner, scanning for tomorrow's schedule. "Yeah, I should be. I don't have anything happening tomorrow."

"Oh great. I was also thinking that maybe we could get to know each other's roommates. Meet new people, make new friends, make connections."

"Lol. I mean sure. I'll have to check with them first, but did u check with your roomates?"

"Yeah. We were planning to go to the park tomorrow anyway since we all have the day off. When I asked, they said it was fine to invite some friends."

"Oh ok. I'm gonna go ask Misun and Yoonhyun real quick. Wait one sec," I quickly walked down stairs and to the living room. "Misun. Yoonhyun. Do you wanna go to the park tommorow. I want to introduce you to a friend."

"Sure, I don't see why not," Yoonhyun said, returning her focus back to the movie.

"Ok, fine with me. I just have class at 2," Misun said, still eating popcorn.

"K," I replied and headed back upstairs and into my room. "So they both said that its fine. Misun just has to leave around 2, cuz she has class."

"Great. So meet around...8:30?"

"Yeh sure. Oh wait. Can I invite one of our close friends?"

"Sure."

"Ok. I'll text you if she's coming. Her name's Areum, she's a few months younger than me. So tell me more about your roomates."

"Well, ok. So, Jae's the oldest, and the tallest. He can be kinda weird. Everyone insults him for fun. Um...he's fluent in English, since he grew up in America. Him and I are the only two who can really speak English. A lot of people call him Chicken Little, because he looks like a chicken. Uhh....I think that's about it for Jae..."

"Wait, you never told me you know English. Are you fluent?"

"Mostly. I was born here in Korea, but I spent 4 years in Canada. I learned English there."

"Did you go by an English name?"

"Yeh. I went by Brian. When I was in Canada I was a part of a musical group."

"You were in a musical group!"

"Yeah...I can play the bass and the guitar. I can also sing and rap..."

"So you and all of your roomates have some kind of musical talent."

"Yup. Jae and Sungjin both play guitar and sing. Jae also raps. Wonpil can play the keyboard and synth, as well as sing. Dowoon plays the drums, and he's learning to sing right now."

"Wow...I envy you guys. I can barely even sing."

"Don't say that. You probably have a pretty signing voice, if it's anything like your normal voice. Anyway, Sungjin is nice. Jae calls him Bob, since Jae says he looks like a character called Bob the Builder. Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, do you speak? English, I mean."

"No not really. I know a little, like really basic stuff. Misun is the best at English between us three. She's learning it and she also has relatives who live in America. In fact were babysitting her cousin right now...or well Yoonhyun and Misun are."

"Lol. I could try teach you more."

"Ehhh, maybe. Anyway back to your roomates."

"Well, Wonpil is really nice. He's probably the cutest of us. He smiles the most. Dowoon seems shy and quiet at first, but once you get to know him he opens up. Dowoon is also probably the most awkward of us I would say. So yeah. Those are my roomates."

"Any of them dating?"

"Why. You interested?"

"Hah! No."

"Whatever, but no none of us are, though I suspect Dowoon might be dating, but if he is, he hasn't said anything. So what about your roomates."

"Well Yoonhyun is pretty chill. Sometimes she can be a little intense, especially about her interests and the things she's passionate. Misun is the cutest of us and energetic. She's also the shortest. She can be kinda crazy in a way sometimes. I might as well tell you about Areum. She's one of my closest friends, and I've known her since we were little. She's usually more on the chill side, although she cna be a little crazy at times."

"So, if Misun is the shortest, who's the tallest?"

"Me...I always have been."

"Lol. Are any of you guys dating."

"Yoonhyun has a boyfriend, but I'm not sure if they're still together. They haven't gone out recently. But I mean, if anything happened she'll tell us eventually. Misun is probably dating someone, but she won't admit it. Areum and I are both single, and probably will be for a while. Why? Are you interested?"

"Haha! No. Anyway I have to go now sorry."

"Oh no problem. I'll text you if Areum can come."

"Ok. So...see you tomorrow?"

"Yup! Bye Younghyun. Have a good night."

"You too Y/N. See you tomorrow!"

"See you!" I ended the call and texted Areum asking her if she wanted to come. A few minutes later she replied, saying that she'll meet us here. I texted Younghyun and told him the Areum would be coming. I walked downstairs, just as Tria's parents came to pick her up. "We're going to the park at 8:30 tomorrow. Be ready by 8:20. I'm going to bed now." I called out to Misun and Yoonhyun, heading back up to my room. I changed into my pajamas and read for about an hour. After I turned off the lights and went to bed, excited for tomorrow.
