十八：晚饭

18 : Dinner

Y/N POV

We arrived at the restaurant and saw Wonpil waiting outside. We joined hims and talked for a little while we waited for Misun. A few minutes later Misun arrived and we entered the restaurant. The waitress seated us in a booth and pulled up an extra chair. Jae slid into one side, Yoonhyun sliding in next to him. I slid in next to Yoonhyun and saw he blushing a bit. Looks likes she really has moved on from the breakup. Younghyun slid next to me and when our hands accidentally touched, I saw his face flush.

"Ooh Younghyun's got a crush," Wonpil said as he slid into the other seat across from Jae.

"Shut up," Younghyun said, looking down, his face turning even redder.

"He's not the only one," Areum said, laughing as she sat down next to Wonpil, looking directly at Yoonhyun. "We also have this couple right here," she said motioning to Misun and Dowoon as they sat down next to her.

"Guys shut up and figure out what you're gonna eat," Sungjin said smiling as he sat down in the extra chair. I looked down at my menu and quickly decided what I was going to eat. A few minutes later a waitress came to ask us what we would like to drink. I asked for water while the others asked for soda and beer. We started to chat while we waited to order our dinner. The waitress soon came back with our drinks and we ordered out dinner. The others started to debate about water being wet and I tuned out. We had been seated by the window and I had been sitting right next to it. I turned to look outside.

The sun was setting, the colors reflecting off of the nearby river. I saw a young couple sitting at a bench on the bridge, admiring the sunset. Without realizing it I had taken out my sketch book and started sketching. I was starting to plan out colors when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Younghyun pointing to the waitress who had my food and was waiting to place it on the table. I flushed in embarrassment and quickly put away my sketchbook.

We ate dinner, laughing and talking like old friends. After eating Yoonhyun and Jae started to argue about paying the bill. We laughed at their childish bickering as Jae won in the end. We walked to a nearby ice cream parlor to have dessert. After getting kicked out of the ice cream parlor when it closed, we bid our farewells and headed home. On our way home, Misun, Areum, and I teased Yoonhyun about her obvious crush on Jae.

After arriving home and wishing Areum a good night, I walked up stairs and into my room. I changed into pajamas, removed my makeup, and brushed my hair before plopping into the plush heaven of my bed. I curled up and hugged my favorite plushie, falling asleep with a smile.

Guess who's back from the dead. It's been like 2 months and I've still done nothing productive lol. This chapter is bad, just like the rest of them lol. Maybe I'll start updating more? Idk. I might be releasing a new fanfic soon idk. Look forward to that I guess.
