"Hurry up I wanna go eaaaaat," Aera whined as I was hastily dragged to the cafeteria so Aera could get in the lunch line first, which ended up not happening. We were second. Anyways, after picking out our lunch, we plopped ourselves into seats and immediately immersed ourselves into our food, or at least that's what Aera did. That was until two of Jaemin's friends decided to sit in the seats in front of us, claiming seats for the others in their friend group.
"Hey Jeno get over here sit next to your soulmate," Haechan screeched, while Jisung, the orange haired kid, giggled at his mood. Aera and I used to be close to them, but ever since Jaemin cut ties with us, they were forced to follow suit.
"We're here." Jeno seated to the right of me while Mark sat next to Jisung. Jaemin, being obvious with his grudge, sat next to Jeno, distancing himself from me.
"It's been a while since we've all been a group, I'm glad we can do this again," Jisung began, only receiving nods from a few of us.
As silence began to envelop between us, the realization hit me that Jeno needed to explain how he got back, especially so quickly.
"Hey, Jeno-" I started before getting interrupted by a ringtone.
Jeno awkwardly took out his phone, immediately answering it. He walked out of the cafeteria, mouthing a quick sorry before leaving. Although I didn't see the screen for too long, I clearly saw the name, Hana, with a heart at the end of the contact. Before I knew it, the bell rang instructing us to go back to class.🏶🏶🏶
"We're never sitting with them again," Aera stated, as we walked to science. "I love those guys, but I hate the fact that Jaemin's there. You know what, I hate the fact that Jaemin's there at all." I simply nodded, knowing there was no need to argue.
When we arrived at the classroom, we sat at the nearest table, only to be told by the teacher that we had assigned seats, pointing at the seating chart put up on the whiteboard. I was next to someone with a foreign name. That sounds like a Chinese name, I wondered, as I sat in my assigned seat, which was near the front of the classroom. Aera was at a table all the way in the back, so I had to socialize with people. Pfft, socializing, what's that?
Soon, a person, that was too infamously familiar, sat himself down next to me.
"YOU-" We both screamed, jabbing an accusing finger at each other.
"You're that kid that ripped that Moomin doll I really liked," I said, attempting to sound confident and rageful at the same time.
"Well, you're the kid that ran off on me and made me pay for the doll that we both ripped," He countered
"You were the one who ripped-"
"Quiet down kids," the teacher began, cutting through the noise of the classroom. "Today we'll go over procedures, and y'all can chill if we have time left."

"Y'all can chill now," the teacher said, before running off to his desk doing whatever teachers do. Maybe planning our deaths with homework and stress.
"What's your name?" the kid said, while I was packing up my stuff.
"Na Jaerin, you?"
"I'm Huang Renjun."
I nodded in response, slipping my backpack on while deciding to go with Aera before heading to our next class. As I do so, a glimpse of Renjun's forearm strikes my attention.
It looked exactly like mine; a white flower bud.
The moment went by like a blur; the bell rang and everyone rushed out of the classroom leaving me unable to move. Who are you Huang Renjun?
After the storms and droughts her garden had gone through, hope finally broke through with rays of sunshine, as two flowers broke through the dirt. As hopeful as the garden had grown with two flowers, what if there was a third growing in their midst?
