"Thank god that's over with." Aera and I were heading out of school together, relieved that the first week of school was over. While we headed out the door, Jeno had passed by us.

"Jeno wanna come hang out with us, we're gonna eat out," I managed to squeak out. Although he was my soulmate, I haven't managed to hang out with him very often. He always had "plans".

"Sorry I have plans." Called it.

"Alright then." As I watched him walk past, the slight tinge of disappointment grew in me.

"Something sure ain't right with that boy," Aera said, drawing her fingers towards her chin, "we're gonna figure that out, but first let's eat I'm starving."

"We ate so much yet I'm still hungry," Aera muttered as we strolled towards our dorm.

"You're always hungry," I giggled out, clutching to the straps of my backpack.

"Yeahh, I know."

Just then, a tone went off from Aera's phone. Drawing it out, and skimming whatever notification was the source of the sound, she looked up at me.

"I think my lab partner wants to meet up and work on the science project, you head inside, okay?"

Nodding, Aera sauntered off, putting her phone back in her pocket. Heading in, realization dawned upon me.

I need to talk to Renjun about our science project. That was the priority when I entered the flat, took off my shoes, and dumped out all my school work on the living room coffee table. However realizing the mass of work I had left to do, I figured I'd do a bunch of smaller assignments first, to get them out of the way. As I worked my way through the first assignment, I got a text from Jeno.

thats good. I have something to tell you meet me

at that new cafe at the shopping center.

He has something to tell me? The message sounded urgent and cryptic, what could he possibly want to tell me? I remember staying up late trying to answer that question, but with all that thinking, there was only one conclusion I could come to: he wasn't asking me on a date.

Days went by as her garden grew past the tragic events of the past, however, no matter how much they tell themselves the opposite, they knew there was another storm coming.
