"Hinami!"

Hinami and Haise turned their heads to face Rea, who was currently panting with her kagune out on display.

"Re-chan!" Hinami called out excitedly. Rea smiled warmly at her, all while catching her breath so that she can speak again.

"K-Kyouko, Where is she?"

Hinami's eyes widened before she shook her head with her eyes closed. "I-... Could you please come over here and help me out, Re-chan?" she asked quietly, keeping her eyes on the figure with the black cloak in front of her.

Rea nodded and jogged over to her, taking her position beside the brown haired girl. They then began to start dodging Takizawa's kagune, all while making sure Haise was safe.

While they were fighting, the CCG showed up causing Takizawa to run away somewhere, leaving Hinami, Rea, and a half unconscious Haise with the group of men in white coats.

"Hina, what's going on?" Rea asked with concern and fear laced in her voice.

Hinami let her guard down to turn to Rea, not looking her in the eye like how she normally would in any other situation. "She's in Coch-"

Cochlea.

Cochlea.

Kyouko is in Cochlea!

While Rea was off guard, a CCG investigator snook up behind her to attack, but Hinami was quick enough to block using her kagune.

"Re-chan, Hurry and get out of here, you can't get hurt!"

Said girl turned to look at Hinami, tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "But I can't leave you here either."

"Go!"

Rea pulled the purple scarf around her neck up to her mouth and started to run towards where the other Aogiri members are.

While running, she ended up crashing into Ayato, who looked as if he was looking for someone himself.

She broke out into a wide smile, but it faltered when she remembered that Hinami was still in danger. She put her hands on both of his shoulders, keeping him in place.

"Ayato, Hinami is in trouble and could be sent to Cochlea, we need to go help her!"

He let out a much needed breath and put his hand on top of her own that was on his left shoulder. "That's what I came to tell you about, Kyouko is in Cochlea."

It felt as if her whole world just stopped. It just dawned to her that her long time Aogiri partner is in Cochlea, with ruthless and dangerous CCG investigators.

"Where's my helmet and motorcycle," she stated.

Ayato's eyes widened slightly. "Rea, no. You can't save her by yourself you'll end up dying-"

"Ayato!" she called out. "I don't care. I can't leave her by herself, so either she dies, or I die saving her."

Knowing how much Kyouko means to Rea, he decided to keep his mouth shut. "Tatara-san told me to get you so that we can begin the meeting."

She calmed down and nodded, following Ayato back to the Aogiri base.

"Saki-san."

"Rea."

"Saki-danchou."

She didn't once pick her head up during the meeting, even when everyone called her name out.

She tensed when she felt Ayato put a hand on her shoulder in the same way that she did to him a few hours ago. "They won't help you get Kyouko and Hinami back if you don't say anything," he whispered in her ear.

She slowly picked up her head and dropped the origami blue jay that she was making and slammed her hand flat on the table, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Kyouko and Hinami are in Cochlea and we need to save them or they'll get killed," she said with a strong voice.

Tatara cleared his throat before speaking. "Rea-san, we have enough on our hands. And what is the point in saving people who'll die anyway?"

She brushed the black hairs out from in front of her face and looked up at the red eyed man in disbelief. "Are you serious right now? Aogiri needs those two, and without them we're not gonna get anything done."

Tatara let out a heavy sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger. "We'll talk about this later. Meeting over."

Rea jumped up in her seat and smiled, skipping over to Ayato. "Did you hear that? We're gonna save them!"

He gave her a soft smile and ruffled her head of black hair, despite her protests.

Later on in the afternoon, Rea caught Ayato outside, leaning on a rail and watching the clouds in the sky.

"Hey Rabbit, I gotta tell you something."

He turned around and faced her, blue haired flying in the direction the wind is going. "What's up?"

She stood beside him and copied his position, leaning on the rails.

"After I take back Kyouko and Hinami, I'm not coming back to Aogiri."

"What? You gotta be kidding me, Rea," he said while looking at her in disbelief. The black haired girl only nodded, not meeting his eyes.

"I just want to live a ordinary life. But don't worry, I'll always visit you guys," she said, voice sounding more brighter at the last sentence.

Ayato turned around and pulled her into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around her and putting his chin on the top of her head.

"You know they'll track you down, right?"

Rea smiled into his chest and wrapped her own arms around him. "I'll just go to your sisters cafe, we're still close," she said with a muffled voice.

He lightly sighed and pulled away, keeping his hands on both of her shoulders and looked her directly in the eyes. "I'm really disappointed in you, but if it's your decision, then I'll support you, Re-chan."

She smiled at him and pulled away from his hands.

"You still never told me where my helmet and motorcycle are at."

"Right, right."
