(Gonna be a part two because these chapters have so much going on in them)

After a restless nights sleep in this crazy new world she found herself in, she and Shreya were heading into the dining hall for some breakfast. It was already full of life with students of all ages sitting in groups around the multiple tables. There was a buffet table out in the center of the room stacked ceiling high with a bunch of strange and colorful foods she'd never seen before. They hoped in the back of the line and each grabbed a plate.

"So, how are you feeling after..." Shreya asks as they wait in line.

"Discovering that this whole time I've actually been some kinda witch?" Rachael asks.

"Attunded, actually." Shreya corrects.

"Okay...Attuned." Rachael sighs. "I'm basically feeling all the emotions at once. Weird and excited and confused and scared. I mean...What was that shadow thing that attacked me last night?"

A few students turned to look at her, but were quickly shut down by Shreya's glare. "Maybe don't tell the whole school about it! We don't know for sure what that thing was...or what any of this means."

"Fine. We'll talk privately later." Rachael sighs. "I guess we can table it for now. I'm just...I'm just freaking out a little."

"And I totally get that. But for now, let's just keep this between us while we figure it out. Besides, I don't actually know what that thing was. I tried doing some research and came up utterly short." Shreya says concerned as the line moves forward.

"Ugh, I'm exhausted. I basically passed out after the 'incident' last night." Rachael sighs. "Which doesn't explain why I feel like I got hit by a truck."

"You're so Tuneless, it's adorable." Shreya giggles at her. "Magick uses up a ton of energy. Especially when you cast whatever crazy powerful spell that was last night. To be perfectly honest, I've never in my life seen a casting that looked like that!"

"What are you saying?" Rachael asks.

"I'm saying that whatever spell you cast last night was packing some insane energies, 'Ms. Woe Is Me, I Have No Magick'." Shreya smiles at her. "As for getting your energy back. This is probably the only time you'll hear me say this...But you should carboload."

"Good to know. Thanks." Rachael laughs at her distain for carbs.

They finally reached the front of the line and Shreya brought her attention to the tables of foreign food. "Behold! The miracle of a magick breakfast. Covers the entire food pyramid, and everything in between."

"What is all of this?" Rachael asks grimacing a bit at the sight of some substances.

"These are Prophecy O's. They're like fortune cookies, but still lots of fun. Yorba eggs. My favorite. They scream when you eat them, but you get over it once you taste the rich, gooey deliciousness. These are dragon links, sausages cooked over dragon flame. Be careful they'll be very spicy." Shreya explains pointing at each item.

"Wow...and I thought my elementary school had the most disgusting dietary options..." Rachael grimaces picking up the bowl of cereal, seeing as it was the safest option. The letters of the cereal started to move around in the milk to spell out 'Blood is thicker than water'. "That's...gross? And not really a prophecy or a fortune. Kinda just a phrase."

"At least it's a short phrase. I once had to wait for my O's to spell out a whole paragraph. Trust me, soggy Prophecy O's are the worst." Shreya says, as they found a place to sit down.

Rachael stirred her cereal around a bit, before taking a bite. It was a strange sugary coated cereal with a slight taste of mint for the milk-like liquid. "Woah, this is good..."
