After a few hours the rest of the Pend Pals returned to the Roost and crowded around the bubbling potion.

"Now, you simply have to put the essence in the potion, and let it do the rest." Beckett says, watch as she pulled the amber colored stone from her bag and holding it over the cauldron.

"Well, here goes nothing." Rachael sighs, dropping it in. A bright light flashed as it made contact with the water and once it subsided, Beckett fished it out with a ladle.

"Just as intended." He nodded, as he observed it glowing a dark red color. "Now remember, this will show you where the monster came from, so you need to absorb as much information as you can about the place."

Beckett moves the ladle towards her, placing the essence in her hands. As soon as it came in contact with her skin, her vision went white. The image of the Hall of Mirrors flashing across her eyes before disappearing just as fast.

"I know where we have to go!" Rachael rambles quickly, dropping the essence as she came back into reality.

"But that shouldn't be possible. The mirrors have protective wards on them. Nothing should be able to get through." Shreya says.

They continued to discuss the different scenarios of how Rachael's vision could be interpreted, as she was lead over to mirror in the center of the room. It was as if it was drawing her in and as she observed her reflection she noticed it seemed off again much like all the times before.

Rachael impulsively reached out to touch the glass of the mirror and it shattered beneath her touch, pulling her inside it. She fell face first into something and when her eyes finally opened she found herself on the ground in a dark forest only lit by a strange red light.

"Where the fuck am I?" Rachael mumbles looking around in shock, as she quickly stood up.

A loud roar came from behind her the noise belonging to a much larger and terrifying shadow monster than any of the others she had encountered before were.
