"I'm your twin." Atlas says.

"Well, no shit Sherlock! I kinda got that from the fact that you have the same fucking face as me!" Rachael shouts annoyed, like fuck you I'm not that stupid.

The tension between them was thick enough to cut with a knife as their glares only grew more powerful. Professor Swan looked between the two before jumping up from behind her desk. "Elidi, Atlas! Let's just calm down... I see the two of you have a lot to catch up on... so why don't I make some tea? And... maybe something a little stronger for myself..."

"Elidi...?" Rachael mumbles looking between them confused, but no one seemed to be keen on elaborating.

Swan handed her a cup of tea and hesitantly let Atlas have the Brandi she'd pulled out for herself. "Rachael, the tea will have the herbal supplement I mentioned. You should still see a nurse at some point, but at least-"

"I don't have time for tea! I want to know why she was stalking me!" Rachael huffs, making Swan jump a bit.

"I wasn't stalking you, I was trying to get you to let me out!" Atlas shouts.

"Let you...out?" Rachael asks.

"Yeah, I got stuck in there months ago trying to save your dumbass!" Atlas sighs.

"Oh, Atlas..." Swan says sadly.

"Oh, Atlas?! Oh, Atlas!? Why are you taking her side I don't even know what's going on!" Rachael huffs.

"I was trying to save you from the self-aggrandizing sod that calls himself the Dread. That's what's going on!" Atlas replies.

"You mean Raife Highmore?" Rachael asks.

"I'm surprised you know his true name." Atlas scoffs.

"Elidi's been studying hard while she's been here! I'm glad something has stuck!" Swan says, getting a middle finger from Rachael. "Though, I had hoped it would be more on her school work instead of a subject I specifically told her not to look into."

"Well it gave me more information than you did!" Rachael grumbles. "He's the guy who killed all those kids."

"It wasn't kids. It was twins. Hundreds of them." Atlas says. "He was looking for us."

"Atlas..." Swan says cautiously.

"No don't Atlas her! Maybe she'll actually tell me something!" Rachael says, raising her voice.

"You didn't even know magick existed until a few months ago. Why would you expect anyone to tell you anything!" Atlas growls. "You want to know what going on then I'll tell you-"

"Atlas, that's enough! She's...She's not ready..." Swan says aggressively.

"And who's fault is that! The Michelle family knew this day would come! It was their job to prepare her, like my caregivers did me!" Atlas says.

"Prepare me for what!?" Rachael yells at her breaking point.

"For the fight to come, as course. Our birth parents separated us to keep us safe. Our caregivers were supposed to keep us hidden." Atlas says. "And now, Raife knows where we are and knows we're together. Our time is up, and you have no idea what's coming!"

"Then what do we do?" Rachael asks.

"Now you go back to your room and keep Atlas out of sight until I can figure out what to do about this mess!" Swan says.

"That's it? But what about-" Rachael asks.

Swan put her hand up sternly, to stop her. "Please, Elidi. I know this is a lot to process, and I know you have more questions, but... It's my duty to keep you safe. The both of you. Please. Let me do that."
