Sans POV

After I teleported I lost my balance and fell, giving a little yelp of pain as I hit the wooden floor. My eyesight was blurry from my drained energy and I felt light-headed from using so much magic. I felt someone warm kneeling over me, yelling my name in fear. Everything felt so fuzzy and numb around me as I closed my eyes, the pain and emotions as background noise in my mind. At least Papyrus is safe. And with that thought I let my body go limp.

Grillby POV

I was cleaning up the shop when I heard a thud and someone yelp behind me, so I turned around and found Sans with blood all over him on the ground, bleeding out. Instantly, I raced towards him, calling his name, trying to wake him up. But he just went limp. I started crying, but noticed he was still faintly breathing. I lifted his shirt up and used my healing magic on him, letting my magic go into the cracks of his rib cage.

I only managed to stop the bleeding when I got light headed, about to faint. Healing magic is very hard to do, and it takes up most of your magic, so monsters need to rest to let their soul generate more. I went to the sink and soaked a towel with warm water and walked back to him, carefully wiping the blood from his bones, making sure the water never touched my hands.

Knowing I couldn't continue healing him, I picked Sans up and stumbled past the kitchen to my room and let him lay on my bed. His breathing was still shallow, but not like before. He was getting better. Though his wound was scaring me. It was a miracle that he survived. The blade hit across his chest, leaving deep wounds engraved into his bones, it pained me to keep looking.

I got bandages from the first aid kit and patched him up. Then I looked through my closet until I could find something his size. After a while I found a cream colored turtleneck and brought it back to the bed. I took off his sweater and shirt and was about to put the new shirt on until I found cuts on his arms. ..No, he wouldn't... would he? I couldn't believe how Sans could keep so much from me, yet his face looked so calm. I blushed as I took a closer look at his body, besides his wound, his rib cage looked so perfect, and his bones looked so smooth. I blushed even more and looked away. No, I can't fall in love with him! He'll be even more stressed out... But the thought of him always made me a little warmer inside, and his real smile made me melt. I shook my head, trying to shake him out of my head. I quickly put the shirt on him, covered him with a blanket, and took his old, blood stained clothes away.

I grabbed a book from the bed stand, then sat beside him on the bed and held his hand while I opened the book. I'll be here when he wakes up.

(Time Skip)

Sans POV

I opened my eyes, expecting to find myself in my room, but was instead in someone else's bed. I started panicking and sat up quickly but immediately regretted it when a sharp pain flooded into my chest. I gripped onto my chest with my left hand and tried to move my right hand. When I couldn't move it I looked to my side and found Grillby sleeping, holding onto my hand. It made me jump which made my chest burn again.

"Ah... ow." I whimpered, gripping onto my shirt more. I heard shuffling next to me and turned to see Grillby waking up, seeing me, and quickly put his hand on my shoulder.

"Does it hurt?" Grillby asked, worry seeped into his words.

"Y-yeah, kinda," I replied, wincing as I moved to face him. "B-but, why am I here? I t-thought.. I was dead." It hurt when I spoke, but being around Grillby made it a little more bearable.

Grillby stared at me with eyes filled with fear. And watched my every move as if I would dust at any second. "You're not dead. You teleported here when the storm started, then I healed you the best I could, and I took care of your clothes.." the fire monster blushed a light blue.

I looked down to see a cream colored turtleneck sweater on me. "T-thanks, Grillby. S-sorry.. you had t-to take care of me." I looked back up at him and blushed when I saw his face. I wanted to kiss him right then, but resisted when another sharp pain struck my body.

Grillby saw me wince and gave me a worried glance. "D-do you want me to heal you a bit more?"

I nodded and Grillby lifted his hand until it was in front of my chest. I almost gasped as the warm magic spread through my bones. He closed his eyes and focused on his magic as it spread through my pain, muting it. I closed my eyes, letting the magic overwhelm me. I pushed myself closer to his hand until we touched, absorbing the gentle power until Grillby took his hand away, out of breath.

"Oh, s-sorry Grillbz, I didn't mean to use so much." I felt myself blush as he looked back at me.

"It's fine. Just tell me if it s-starts hurting too much." Grillby replied, getting out of the bed.

I looked around the room, realizing that I've never actually been in Grillby's room before. Then a thought struck me. "Hey, Grillby, you said that a storm started?"

"Yeah, there's a huge storm outside. People said that it would take weeks until it ends. Maybe months." Grillby replied as he picked up a book that fell.

"Oh..." I felt like I was missing something. Then it hit me. "Wait, what about Papyrus?"

Grillby glanced at me with confusion. "Only you came, I didn't see Papyrus."

All the memories came back to me all at once just then. "Right... I left Papyrus at home. But he d-doesn't know I'm alive."

Grillby opened a door and went inside, then came out a couple seconds later with my phone. "This was in your sweater. You can call him if you want." He handed the phone to me.

I dialed Pap's number. "Thanks, Grillbz." He nodded in return.

I felt so happy that Papyrus was still alive. After all of these resets, I was finally at peace.

Okay Sans. Say hi to your brother.
