Grillby POVI heard coughing from in the kitchen. This started up again and has been happening for 3 days now. I rushed to the kitchen and hugged Sans from behind. I was so worried about him, he was always getting hurt. Sans managed to stop coughing and just took raspy breaths, but he was still shaking. He grabbed some paper towels and wiped the blood off from his mouth, then turned around and hugged me back.
"You can go back to bed, I'll clean this up." Sans' voice sounded hoarse, and drained.
I wasn't convinced, I didn't want to leave him alone.
"I don't want you to get hurt, Grillbz, I'll be there in just a couple seconds."
I slowly nodded and walked back to the room, hearing water run quietly behind me. I know I'm over reacting, but it killed me to see Sans hurt, I didn't want to leave his side, ever. He's too precious, and gentle, and cute.. I sat on the bed and tried to think of something else, anything else but Sans. But he just kept popping up in my head.
Sans came back into the room, and I snapped my attention away from my thoughts. He was still shaking slightly as he walked over to me, and he looked frustrated. Something was bothering him.
"What's wrong?" I asked gently. He sat down next to me and looked at the ground.
"You wouldn't understand, you'd think I'm crazy.."
"Nonsense, Sans, you said that last time, I'll believe anything by now," I tried to lighten the mood in the room, and Sans smiled a bit.
"..okay."
Sans POV
I told him about how this world, when the kid arrives, is a game. How the storm could've been because of us, and that's just the code trying to cope with the change, determination, the whole ordeal about the kid not resetting yet. And about the first timeline.
"The first time the kid was, different. There was nothing wrong with them, they didn't kill anything. And they freed us from the underground, and we saw the surface..." I smiled as I revisited those memories. "But then they reset, and.. they changed."
Grillby hugged me and I felt myself fall into his embrace. "Everything will be fine, Sans," he whispered. He pulled me closer to him, letting his hand slip down to my lower back while his other cradled my neck. He glanced at me with a hint of lust in his eyes, it made my face flushed with blue. I leaned closer to him and kissed him erotically, making him shiver. I wrapped my arms and legs around him, needing more of my body against his. He broke the kiss to catch his breath momentarily, but kissed me again and reached under my shirt to get closer. His bare hands against my back made me shudder. He was so good at this. I parted with him to catch my breath again. I let go of his neck with my arms and barely caught myself. I was so out of it, my eyesight was blurry, and my arms could barely hold me. Grillby seemed to be exhausted, too. He let go of me and looked away, blushing some more as he panted for breath. I moved my legs so they weren't around him anymore, then stumbled next to him.
He picked up his phone from the bed stand. "It's 4:30, do you wanna sleep some more?"
I nodded, closing my eyes. Grillby wrapped his hands around me and pulled himself closer to me, and we let ourselves fall asleep.
(Time Skip)
Grillby POV
I opened my eyes to find Sans sleeping soundly in my arms. He looked so peaceful, yet he had so many problems and secrets that he trapped inside himself, it made my heart sink. I let go of him softly, being sure not to wake him, then sat up. I checked the time on my phone, it was 8:16 am. I had nothing else to do but think until Sans woke up. My mind immediately went to that heated moment, I couldn't control myself with him. He looked so amazing like that. I blushed when I remembered his position after he let go of me, his legs still hanging around my waist. I had to look away to keep myself from doing more.
I broke away from my thoughts when I heard Sans shuffling beside me. I looked over at him."Hey."
"Hi," Sans rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He sat up and looked at me. "When am I gonna be able to use my magic, again, Grillby?"
"I, don't know, Sans. When you feel better, maybe."
"But I'm already feeling betterr.." Sans whined playfully. I chuckled.
"Just wait till the storm ends," I told him. I don't want to take any chances with him.
"Okay," Sans snuggled up next to me. "What did they predict for the weather this time?"
I looked at my phone for the weather, there were about 4 days left. He would go back to his brother, but then I would be left alone again. I hated being alone.
Sans felt my uneasiness, "it'll be okay, Grillbz, I come by every day."
"Still.. I'll miss you."
"I'll sleep over sometimes, don't worry." Sans kissed my cheek sweetly, "then we can do whatever we want.~"
I blushed when he said that, and he started laughing when he saw my face. "Sanss..." I tried to sound annoyed, but it didn't work, which made him laugh more. I couldn't be mad at him though, he had a way of flirting that made my soul heat up and my face burn blue without me even noticing. One time Sans was drunk and flirting with another monster, and I started heating up. I was surprised that I didn't know I liked Sans then, I guess I thought I was being overprotective.
Sans finally stopped laughing and sat up, then smiled. "You're so cute when you blush.."
I'm pretty sure my face was completely bright blue then. I looked away. "S-shut up..."
Sans smirked and edged closer to me, his hands crawling up my waist. He whispered in a husky voice, "make me.~"
