Okay, I have to admit, Don is very....very attractive. I know we just met but I think he feels the same way. The school's been pretty decent so far, Well I just got here so yeah. It's strange how Don hasn't left my side the whole way to the cafeteria. This won't be such a bad day after all.
______________________________________________I quickly headed to the café almost forgetting my schedule sheet. Don grabbed an extra and gave it to me, "Thanks" I say smiling and keep walking to the café, "ehh it was nothing. If I didn't, you'd be having to follow me all day." he joked laughing a little. "Oh shut it" I slightly punch his shoulder and shake my head. He followed behind me as I opened the door and let him in, "ladies first" I snicker as he walks in. Two can play that game, "Oh thanks.." Don rolled his eyes and grabbed a biscuit with sausage. I looked around the cafeteria while grabbing a chicken and eggs, this was WAY bigger than my former school's café.
Don and I walked out of the food area and searched the tables to find an empty space. I sat down and so did Don, "So do think there would be any chill teachers here?" I ask eating the eggs, "I highly doubt it. Teachers are usually dickheads." he responded laughing. I couldn't help but laugh too when he said it, "yeah you're right" I nod and finish the breakfast. "So first is our homeroom, which is...." I pause and Don finished the sentence with, "Science." I nod and grab a water bottle to wash down the dry biscuit and sigh, "at least History isn't a problem." I say sliding my phone into my pocket and yawn, "yeah, but math certainly will." Don added in grunting. "If it weren't enough last year." We heard a loud RIIIIINNGGG through the speakers and hundreds of other students made their way to homeroom. Fur, tails, arms went in every path as me and Don headed to our classroom. "Wow, it's like traffic here. Could it get any worse?" I ask and stand outside the classroom door waiting for the teacher to arrive and unlock the door and start the day. I and Don both were relieved to get out of the crowded hall.
I sat beside Don and grabbed a pencil and notebook out to begin class, "Welcome to your first day of 11th-grade, students. If you listen to my simple rules in this classroom, then this school year will go by faster than any other." a large tiger with the tag "Mr. Maxwell" on it spoke to the class. We all nodded or put a thumbs up to show we understood. After a while, the period ended and it was time for Art. The whole time I felt Don look at me during homeroom as I got up, "Come on let's go Don" I snap my fingers as he jumped up, "coming, I'm coming" he says as he grabs his things and walks out of the door.
We head our way to Art class and I stop, "so what was that little moment you had when the bell rang?" I asked him looking at his face. "Oh, it was n-nothing. Let's just go and finish this day" he smiled but I could tell he was lying, "oooookaayyyy then nevermind" I walk into the next class ready for any assignment that's needed to be done in Art.
