A day later came Monday. Waking up and going to my usual routine and then I had to wait for the bus. I knew the day was going to be better since I have a few friends to hang around with and talk to. Jakob was standing at the sign as well when the bus came to a stop. We entered the bus and took as seat. And as if it had been forever, I saw Don, sitting straight across from me.
"Shit," I said quietly, "this is going to be awkward. I looked out of the window so he didn't notice me, "I'll speak with him at school."
I don't feel the exact same as I did towards him since the first day of school, but he's still a friend. Emotions take over, its quite weird wanting to date someone you rarely even know.
I put in my ear buds, same as I did the first day, and listened to Chlorine. Finishing the song, the bus came to a stop and multiple students filed off the bus. Watching where I was going was difficult. Horns, hooves and beaks came from every direction. I waited until everyone was off and finally left. I caught up with Jakob and Don at the school entrance.
"I'm just going to introduce them," I said to myself, "probably during breakfast."
I waved at them both and started to walk down the halls and into the large, loud cafeteria.
