''I hate doing this.'' Michael complained as he paced around with his arms folded across his Rolling Stones muscle tee.
I scowled at him.
''Michael, don't be such a wussy little shit, if we could wait an hour for you to pick out a guitar, then you can wait for us to get new clothes.'' I scolded, keeping my eyes narrowed in annoyance.
''But, we've been here even longer!'' Michael whined, stomping his feet immaturely.
I released a sigh. ''Just shut up, you're getting on my nerves now.''
We were out shopping, if you hadn't guessed and Michael's been whining about it the whole time. Sure, it was fine when he spent an entire hour picking a new electric guitar, but now that Ari and I have to get some clothes, he's being a complete intolerant idiot.
Ari ventured out of the cabin with her bright blue dress, twirling around, her hair cascading after her.
Michael and I gawked at our friend.
''Whatcha think, guys?'' she squeaked happily, placing a hand on her hip, resembling a model.
Michael clapped incredulously. ''Damn, I'm gonna call you Adriana from now. Lima, or whatever she's called.''
Ari and I laughed at how dumb he was.
''No really, is it okay?'' she questioned, her eyebrows skyward as she had her bottom lip between her teeth timidly.
I smiled reassuringly.
''You look beautiful, Ari. That dress is like made for you.'' I told her honestly.
Ariana grinned, showing her bright teeth.
''Then I shall buy it.'' she announced. ''Have you bought one for yourself?''
I had tried on various dresses and whatnot, but was undecided about the one with black and white stripes and the bright green one with a ribbon on the waist.
''I have doubts about what I should take.'' I responded, going towards the rack I had previously left them on. Ari and Mike followed quietly. I held out both of them as Ari placed a finger to her chin, inspecting the dresses.
''I think I'll go for the striped one.'' Michael finally announced. ''It looks sexy.''
Ari nodded. ''Yeah, I feel like it'll suit you more than the green one.''
''Did you try them on?'' Mike asked
I nodded.
''Yes, they're both really good, that's why I was having doubts.''
Aei clapped her hands. ''Then that's settled; you're taking the striped one.''
We eventually emerged from the mall with massive number of shopping bags. I struggled to pull out my phone that was ringing in my pocket because of the amount of bags I was carrying, but when I finally did, I answered breathlessly.
''Chloe on the phone.''
''Hey babe.'' my face immediately lit up at the sound of my boyfriend's voice.
I smiled.
''Hi Lukey. What's up?'' I spoke, motioning for Michael to unlock the car.
''Nothing much. I'm bored, what're you up to?'' he replied, his voice a bit muffled, making me wonder if he's eating.
''I went shopping with Mike and Ari, we're about to get back to my place now.'' I said, hopping inside the car as well as my two friends.
''Cool.'' he said. ''Listen, I was thinking if you wanted to come to this party with me tonight. Nothing too big.''
