"This is great spaghetti,Anne," Becca said.
"Thank you it's Ashton's favorite,"my mum said.
It was Becca, Lauren, my mum and I at dinner. Harry was at some friends house and that left little conversation.(He was the talker out of all of us.) Since he wasn't here it left more room for my mum to not so casually pointing out my great boyfriend qualities.
"May I be excused?"Lauren asked.
"Sure Lauren,"my mum.
Lauren left the table and went upstairs. Lucky her I had to stay here, I know my mum won't let me leave.
"Excuse me I have to use the restroom,"my mum said not so nonchalantly.
She left the dining room. Now here I am with a beautiful girl in an awkward silence. Usually when I'm with a girl alone they're screaming my name.
I decided to break the silence since the clinking of our forks to the plates was getting annoying.
"I'm sorry about my mum,"I started."She just thinks I need a girlfriend."
"It's fine. You don't know how many guys my mom has tried to set me up with, but the truth is I'm just fine with pizza,video games,and my drums."
