I was standing in my wedding dress, getting ready to walk down the aisle and marry the man I love.
There was a knock on the door.
"If you are the groom you can't come in; it's bad luck to see the bride in her wedding dress,"my best friend shouted.
"My eyes are closed, "said a familiar voice.
Luke.
"I don't know if it's bad luck for one of the groomsmen to see the bride or bridesmaids,"he said cheeks getting red. "And I don't know if you're all dressed. "
"It's fine Luke,"I said. "Open your eyes. "
"Wow, "he exclaimed. "You look beautiful. "
"Thanks Luke, "I smiled. "Do you think he'll like it. "
Now I was worried.
"He'll love it. "
"I hope he doesn't change his mind,"I said smile fading thinking about him wanting to leave after all that we have been through.
"He won't, besides it's too late. Your father is coming now. It's time Becca. "
I took a deep breath; it was time to marry the love of my life.
"I'm ready. "
Luke went to take his place and I looked in the mirror one last time. My father came and got me , tears in his eyes.
The music started playing and everyone stood up. We walked slowly and I locked eyes with my future husband.
I finally made it to the alter and he took my hands.
"You look beautiful,"he said before the priest started.
The priest talked and we did our vows. It was now time for the best part.
"You may now kiss the bride. "
I was pulled into a hard passionate kiss.
"I love you,"I whispered as we pulled away.
"I love you too, Mrs.Irwin."
