Hank pulled Connor away as the ambulance arrived,
"What happened? Hank, tell me!" the android pleaded

"Please, Connor. I don't want you to see..."

"S-See what?" The android's eyes widened as he watched the paramedics pull you out on a stretcher. He wanted so badly to run to you before Hank told him to get in the car. He did as Hank said and quickly got in with him. They followed the ambulance to the hospital as fast as they could.

They were in the same spot as they were only a mere few days ago. Connor sighed,
"I should have stayed. I should have stayed, Hank."

"You couldn't have known, Connor. She was pretending to be fine so if anyone's at fault, I'm just as much guilty as you are."

"I just hate that she's so hurt and lost, I hate that I don't know what to do."

"Just be there for her, that's all you can do." he whispered

"I love her, Hank. I just want her to be happy..."

"I know, son. I know..."
Luckily it wasn't too long until Connor could see you. He hurried to the room with Hank. Hank said that he'll stay outside for a moment and the android agreed before walking inside. Connor came close to the bed and put his hand across yours. He watched your chest rise and fall and squeezed your hand tightly.

Your eyes slowly fluttered open, the blinding light making you shut your eyes tightly before reopening them again,
"C-Connor..?" you squinted up at him with your weak voice falling from your lips

He leaned his face down to kiss you on the forehead,
"I'm here!" You flinch slightly as you felt a substance drop onto your cheek and down to your chin. You looked up at the android; confused.

"C-Connor...what is...?" your shaky hand reached up to touch the corner of his eye where something clear leaked

He squeezed your arm that was reaching up,
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to--"

"You're...crying..?" you didn't even think that was possible of him

"I was so...scared. I thought that--" he let out a shaky but short breath that resembled a cry, "Why did you do this?! I thought you loved me.." he stifled a soft sob

"What? I-I do! I do love you! What would make you--"

"You tried to leave everything behind, even me. You really hurt me, I-I thought that when you loved someone you would never....d-do that to them. I thought you'd do everything to do the opposite." the android's LED became red and he seemed confused and frantic

"Connor--" you moved your hand away from him and felt tears fall down your cheeks as you looked away, "I-I wasn't trying to hurt you! I wasn't! I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry." you broke out into a sob, "I just wanted to rest--I-I just wanted to forget about everything. I'm so awful, I'm such a mess!" You cried violently even though your voice was hoarse

"Y/n...you're not awful--y-you're confused and scared. I'm sorry, I'm sorry I can't be enough..."

"You were! You are! It's just...I was pushing so hard to be happy, I just wanted to be happy...and then I saw something on the tv and everything just caved in. I couldn't breath and everything was so....blurry. I just wanted it to stop. I just wish that I could go back and not be so ignorant that night. " you cried, you couldn't even bring yourself to look at Connor.

"It's okay," he kissed your forehead repeatedly and squeezed your hand into his, "I love you--I love you so much. We're gonna get you help, okay? I promise." he kept his lips close to your forehead as he spoke

You nodded and muffled your cries. You smiled weakly,
"I love you too. I love you so much. I'm sorry, god, what's wrong with me!?" you quickly wrapped your arms around his neck tightly

He held you in his arms,
"Nothing is wrong with you, you're just...damaged inside; but that's okay. It's okay to not be okay. We're gonna fix this, I promise, okay?"

"O-Okay." you sniffle
You both hold eachother tightly before Connor breaks away.

"Hank wants to talk with you...I'm sure he's worried too..."

"Okay."

Connor walks to the door and opens it for the older man who asks to talk to you alone for a moment. Once you two were alone you profusely apologized,
"I'm so sorry! I never meant to hurt you or Connor! I'm so sorry I didn't--"

"Y/n, Y/n...calm down. I understand. Life is hard and it's especially been hard for you. I was just....so scared for you, I'm glad I was able to help you."

"What do you mean?"

"I made sure I got some of that shit outta your system before the ambulance came..."

"I'm sorry to put you through that...thankyou."

"I couldn't just let you die. Plus I had to...I couldn't let Connor even look at you like that. He'd probably self desturct under all that pressure and hurt."

"God...thankyou so much, Hank."

"Well I care about you, not the same way as Connor does but certainly just as much. I love you too,kiddo. "

"That means so much, I love you too, Hank." you smiled weakly

"I'm glad you're okay." he came closer to pull you into a hug

"M-me too." you hug him back

"I'll let you get rest now..." he let you go and smiled at you gently

"Thanks.." you sighed quietly.

Hank left the room and looked to Connor.
"Are you gonna stay? I'm gonna go home, I gotta clean up and feed Sumo."

"Yeah, I don't get tired so I'm staying."

"Okay, I know you'll watch over her.." he smiled at the android

"Of course, Hank. Goodnight, be safe."

"You too..." he gave the android a quick hug before leaving.
Connor enters your room to find you already sleeping again, he took a seat in the chair by your bed. Watching you, seeing you safe and sound for once. For a moment he could be happy.
