The bell chimed as we stepped through the door. "Hi! How can I help- oh.. you again." The waitress grimaced. "Gigi! How many times do I have to say this?! Leave them alone!" She pushed the girl into the back and stood in front of us. "Hey. I'm Dinah Jane. I believe we've met. How can I help you?" "Um.. do you know anywhere around here we could stay for a while?" "Uhh there's a few motels.. wait! There's a hotel just around the block that my uncle owns. My best friend works there. Let me just call them and you'll get rooms for free."
"Umm.. thank you for being so nice." Cher giggled, heat rushing to her cheeks. Someone's got a crush. I wanted to tease her but now wasn't the time. We waited there, standing while she dialed the phone and called. "Uncle Nate! Hi! Umm.. do you think I could have a few friends stay at the hotel for a few days?" She bit her lip as she listened to the man speak. "Okay, thank you! Love you.. Bye!" She turned to us with a huge smile on her face. "Perfect. You guys can head down now if you want!" She was so sweet, even I couldn't believe it.
"Umm.." I looked back at everyone else. They seemed ready to leave. "We're gonna eat here first and then we'll go. Princess needs something in her." I kissed the blondes forehead as she leaned lazily against me. She wasn't feeling good at all and it was obvious. "Yeah! That seems like a good idea. I'm starving!" Jed broke the silence, obviously trying to crack some smiles. I smiled. He's such a good guy.
Dinah Jane quickly seated us and we waited for her to come back. "Jesy?" Perrie croaked. "Yes princess?" "Can.. can you get me some water please?" "Yes baby. I've got you." Dinah came back seconds later, and asked if we wanted anything to drink. "Could I have two ice waters please?" "Can I have some chocolate milk?" After that.. I didn't listen to what anyone else said. I looked down and prayed for my angel to get better soon. She looked so tired. I felt so bad. I rubbed the pad of my thumb along her arm in soft strokes, up and down.. up and down. I ignored everyone, not to be mean, but I wanted to focus on one person only.
"Pez baby? Are you feeling any better?" I asked after she sat up and drank some of her water. "A little." She shrugged, that frown still permanently on her face. We ate our meals in collective silence and everyone fulfilled their hunger. "Knock knock." There comes Pez with her jokes. "Who's there?" Harry laughed with a mouthful of salad. "Ben Hur." She chuckles to herself. "Ben Hur who?" I asked. "Ben Hur over and give it to her doggy style!" She cackled, tears filling her eyes. "You dirty little minx!" Leigh yelled. "Cheeky cow!" Cher snarled. I choked on my water, and it came out of my nose. "Aww shit! It burns!" I laughed.
We all laughed so loud I'm pretty sure we got stares from other people, but did we care? Hell no. "That was a good one Pez!" Jade laughed, holding her chest. I took another sip of my water, secretly praying no one would say anything funny. "Doggy style.." Alex mumbled while smirking. I laughed again, forgetting to swallow. Seconds later, I realized I had spat my water out all over Jed and Andre. "Eww. Why do you have to be such a nasty bitch Jessica?!" "Sorry." I cowered down into my seat and frowned. "Dude. Why do you have to be so mean to her?" Zayn hissed.
"And me." Leigh said sadly, "You're always mean to me." "Can't you see? Blind bitch." He growled. She looked confused, and scared, "W-What?" He cracked his knuckles and his eyes turned dark, very dark. Darker than dark brown, darker than black."BECAUSE I'M FUCKING IN LOVE WITH YOU LEIGH-ANNE!" He grabbed her by the hair and pulled her halfway across the table. She started crying hysterically, I was in complete shock. This was not Andre. Seconds later, other men and women in the restaurant ran over. By then we were all on our feet. "HOW DARE YOU HURT HER? STOP IT!" Jade screamed, drawing all attention that we didn't already have to our table. Simon grabbed onto Andre's arm and told him to calm down. "NO! I'M NOT LISTENING TO SOME GAY LITTLE WHORE!" He roared. He yanked his arm out of Simon's grasp, pulling Leigh's sensitive head with him. "ANDRE!" Alex punched him in the face with no warning. I looked around for my girls and ran. I couldn't be in that place any longer. I grabbed poor Leigh's hand and pulled her outside, making sure to bring Perrie and Jade with me. "H-He.. I-I.. didn't.. d-do.." Leigh panicked, she was shaking and crying. None of us, and I mean none of us at all have ever seen this side of Andre. He's never done this. "Jadey. It's okay. Leigh. You'll be alright princess. Oh my god baby!" They were all crying. "Come here doll." I sniffed, pulling Leigh into a huge hug. I couldn't bear to see my girls upset. On my own, anxiety was taking over my body and my hands shook with every move I made.
