Christie followed Annabeth, Piper, and Grover down across the beach to camp. She ran through the small waves, sea spray splashing her face. "Having fun?" Grover smirked. "Yeah, why don't you join me!" She grunted, kicking water all over him. "Oh, it's on!" He shouted, splashing water back at Chrissie.

Soon the two were soaked, but they didn't mind. They ran back up to Annabeth and Piper, following them through the trees into the camp. The group of four went up to the big house where Chiron was waiting, in his wheelchair form.

((it sounds like Chiron is a boss in a video game or something CX okay sorry continue))

"Welcome to camp half-blood. Leo will be showing you around the camp and helping you find a weapon that suits you." He stated. 'Well rehearsed much?' Chrissie thought. Soon a boy with dark brown ruffled hair and a tool belt around his waist came out of the big house.

He walked down to Chrissie and took her arm, leading her off to the circle of cabins. "Hey, I'm Leo Valdez." The boy wiggled his eyebrows at her, and she poked his arm playfully.

"Anyways, here are all of the cabins, from minor gods to the big three! Until you're claimed, you'll be staying in the Hermes cabin, number 13." He grinned an elfish grin towards her. Chrissie personally thought this boy had a little too much sugar. Then again, he was probably ADHD, just like her.

She jogged after him, staying silent as he explained the dining pavilion, an all of the training spots, including the crazy rock wall with lava. When they got to the weapon store was when she finally spoke up. "Do I get to choose a weapon, like Chiron said?" Chrissie asked, examining a dagger of Stygian Iron.

"Pretty much, if you find one that suits you, that is," Came the reply. "Go ahead, take a look!" Chrissie scanned the shelves of weapons, but none stood out to her, but the black dagger seemed interesting. She picked it up, and warmth spread through her fingers. "This one." She simply stated.

The dagger slid easily into its sleeve, fitting into her pocket. This camp felt new... But a good new. Like a new car, or a new home. Somehow, Chrissie knew that this would be the perfect place for her.
