"Hazel. Hazel wake up. We have to get to the airport!" Hazel jerked awake to the sound of her half-brother's voice. "Yeah, okay, yeah, airport, Florida, yeah." She stumbled over her words. She always had a hard time getting herself up in the morning. She glanced at Nico, who was all ready and dressed. She jumped out of the bed. "And exactly HOW much time do I have?" She asked. "Don't worry," He said sarcastically. "A long 15 minutes!"
After a record shower time of 2 minutes and 27 seconds, Hazel was dressed, packed, and ready to go. She rushed out the door with Nico, finding the rest of the seven, plus Chrissie, assembled in front of the strawberry fields truck. Argus was there too, he was driving them to the airport.
They all gathered in the car, and surprisingly stayed quiet the entire way to the airport. Hazel noticed Chrissie, who was next to her, fumbling with a charm around her neck. "Are you okay?" Hazel questioned her. "What? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." Chrissie smiled and tucked the charm inside her shirt, looking out the window at the huge airport before them.
The 9 demigods filed out of the van, suitcases dragging behind them. "Wow...." Said Jason. "Yeah," Replied Leo. "I can't believe how quickly Argus drove away!" Piper rolled her eyes. "I think he meant the airport, repair boy." Annabeth and Frank stepped up to the counter, motioning for the rest of them to follow.
The teen's voice droned lazily, obviously bored with his job. "Welcome to the Long Island National airport, who are you flying with today?" Annabeth immediately answered. American Airlines." The teen gave them bright yellow tickets to put on their luggage, and they all loaded their suitcases onto the compartment. "Thank you for choosing the Long Island Airport, and have a wonderful trip." The boy said, completely bored. "NEXT!"
The nine demigods jogged to to their gate, 27, and sat down. Just in time! The lady at the desk called all seats up, and they rushed through the tunnel to board the plane. Frank and Hazel were lucky enough to sit together. Nico and Chrissie also were in the same seats.
