'Today is the day!' Percy thought, slashing through dummies in the sword arena. In a few minutes, all of the seven, plus Nico and Chrissie, would be here! He couldn't wait to see Frank and Hazel. Everyone would be super surprised by this!
Soon everyone was gathered there with him in the sword arena Percy acknowledged them one by one. "Nico, Chrissie, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, and Leo." Everyone stopped talking and looked excitedly to Percy. "You wanted to tell us something Perce?" Chrissie asked.
"Yeah," He replied. "My mom and I, and a few other parents, have been saving up for a while, and we finally got enough money to take everyone out to the Marriott Hotel in Florida! Plus we're going to Disney!" Everyone exploded into cheers, and even Nico gave a slight smile. More like a twitch of his lips, but eh, it was close enough.
"The room assignments will be Annabeth and Leo, Frank and Hazel, Piper and Jason, and Chrissie, Nico, and I. Having one group of three was easier, because there was no extra money to pay for someone to have their own room." He shrugged. "Any questions?"
Hazel cautiously raised her hand. Percy swallowed back a laugh. "Hazel?" "When do we leave?" She asked, her golden eyes shimmering. "Tomorrow morning, so you should all go back to your cabins and start preparing! Frank, Hazel, you can just explore around since your stuff is already packed from Camp Jupiter."
Chrissie ran up to Percy after the announcement, grinning like she had just gotten a million dollar lottery. She threw her arms around his neck. "Perce, this is the best surprise ever!" She whispered in his ear. Her voice got lower. "Percy, I need to tell you something." Percy could feel his heart beating faster. "I-I think that I l-love...... Fried chicken." She murmured into his ear.
"You little tease!" He gasped. She shrieked with laughter and ran off, still giggling. He smiled after her. She was really awesome, and he liked her a lot. Did she know? Did she like him too? Maybe he would find out soon.....
