Chrissie was awoken in the middle of the night, approximately 12:47 AM. She slowly turned over, not wanting to wake Percy, and saw Nico trembling in his bed. "Nico?" she whispered. "What's wrong?" Nico didn't reply, and Chrissie could now hear faint sobs coming from his bed. This startled her, Nico did not seem like that kind of person!

She stumbled out of her bed into the cold air. When she placed her feet on the floor, she shivered. Hotel floors were cold! Still sleep-ridden, she padded over to Nico's bed. "Nico, what's wrong?" She repeated, trying, without success, to draw an answer out of the younger boy. "Nico! Answer me!" She whispered, more fiercely this time.

He yet again didn't respond.

"Don't force me to come in there with you!" Chrissie murmured. He still didn't answer. "Fine. You brought this upon yourself." With these words, Chrissie walked around to the other side of the bed and crawled into the cold sheets. She could see Nico's face for a second, before he flipped over abruptly. "Nico, stop being so difficult! Just tell me what's wrong!" Chrissie was starting to get genuinely worried now, and hints of it were showing in her voice.

"Nico, please! I just want to help!" Now Chrissie was getting close to crying herself, and it was showing. "Nico...." "I'm fine." He said harshly. "Now leave me alone." Chrissie sighed. "You're obviously not okay!" Chrissie moved her hand to his back and started to rub it. Nico swatted her hand away, still not facing her.

"I just don't like Percy, okay." Nico spat out. Chrissie frowned, Nico seemed to be just fine around Percy, maybe a little bit cold, but then again, he was cold to everyone! "Oh, Nico, what happened?" Chrissie moved closer to him so she could hear his whispered words. "I-I really like Percy." He said. Now Chrissie was confused. Nico had just said he hated Percy!

And why would he tell anyone this, let alone HER, the person he couldn't even look at!

Nico flipped over to face Chrissie. He bit his lip. "He- he's really.. cute." Chrissie thought Nico looked adorable, just like a little kid, confessing like this. "Cute as in you like boys cute?" Chrissie questioned. Nico hesitated. "Don't worry, I'm not against it." Chrissie reassured him. "Well..." Nico said, "Kind of like that. I mean, I like him, but I also like a girl.

Chrissie was taken aback by this information. Nico was a lot more sentimental than she had first thought! "Well, if you like her, you should tell her!" Chrissie exclaimed, then clapped a hand over her mouth, remembering to be quiet because Percy was still asleep. Nico grimaced. "It's not that easy..." Chrissie grinned. "Oh come on! What's she like? Is she a demigod? Is she in the hotel with us? Is she cute?" Chrissie bombarded poor Nico with questions.

".....Well," He began. "She's really pretty." Chrissie smiled and nodded. "Yes!" "She is a demigod, and she's at the Marriott with us." Chrissie nodded again. "Mmhmm!" Nico stopped talking, and Chrissie frowned. "Aw, come on!" Nico gave her a rare smile (more like a twitch of the lips, but you know!) and said, "That's all I want to say right now. Now go back to sleep." Nico once again flipped over, leaving Chrissie to her jumbled thoughts.

She slid out of Nico's bed and padded back over to her side of the room.

"Good night, Nico."
