chapter 6

Katherine's POV****

"Dangit Jerome!" I yell as he runs up the stairs to his room, locking the door behind him. "Sorry! I had to! Mitch dared me to!" he calls down, laughter filling his voice. I groan and walk up the stairs, touching my upper lip where Jerome drew a eyeliner mustache. Once I reach the top, I hear a distinct crying sound coming from my room.

I walk down the hall and open my door revealing June, in tears. "June are you alright?" I ask sitting next to her, praying that she doesn't look at my mustache. Her eyes don't leave the floor as she slowly says "Ryan left. He's gone". "Shh it's okay" I whisper, rubbing her back. She nods slowly. "He's not worth your tears" I say making her smile. "Now. How about we go get him off of your mind hm?" I ask as she nods, wiping away the tears then smiling.

Jordan's POV****

Walking up to the amusement park, Ty takes my hand. I smile as I look around at all of the different things. Ty pays for our tickets then leads us inside. Once entering, the first thing I see is bumper cars. "Please?!" I beg, making him laugh. He agrees as I let go of his hand, running towards the bumper cars. "The person that gets hit the less is the winner. Deal?" I ask once he walks up. "Deal" he answers, smirking. We are then let in along with about 8 other people.

I sit in a silver bumper car while Ty picks a pink one on the other side of the arena. I strap the buckle around my waist as I look up at Ty. "Your going down" he mouths to me, pointing down slowly. I smirk and mouth back "bring it". He smiles as our bumper cars make a loud noise, alarming everyone that it is now game on.

I press the pedal down and swerve away from the oncoming bumper cars. Quickly, I turn the wheel to the right. I run into Ty, making him jerk backwards. I smirk and turn the car away hoping to stay away from people. Somehow, everyone surrounded me and one by one began to run into me. A loud timer buzzes as each of the cars come to a immediate stop. "So I think we all know who the winner is here" Ty says, walking up to me. I groan and step out of the car. "How many?" I grumble out. "One" he answers, smiling. "What the heck?! I got nine!" I exclaim, making him laugh.

Ty takes my hand, leading me out of the bumper cars arena and back out to the rides. We walk around, hand in hand, until we reach my favorite part of any amusement park. "Roller coaster?" I ask, hesitantly. "Of course!" he answers as I laugh. I watch the ride seeing people getting in it before slowly beginning to back up. It backs up until it curves up into a vertical line. (Sorry I'm writing this in Geometry so don't mind the math terms XD) After a few seconds of sitting there, it drops being sent through the rest of the twists and turns that lie ahead.

"The great white" I say smiling as I pull Ty into the line. "I thought you were scared of heights" Ty asks confused. "I am, but, I love to take risks" I answer. He grins and pulls me into a hug, holding me tightly.

The line was fairly short so we were close to the front of the line. "Next riders" a man states up ahead. The line moves forward as Ty and I take our seats at the very front of the ride. "You nervous?" Ty asks looking at me. "Nope" I answer smiling. I feel the ride jerk as I quickly grab Ty's hand, making him smile at me. He squeezes my hand gently as the ride backs up into a line going higher and higher.

After reaching the top it felt like we were dangling there forever. When I least expected it, the ride goes launching forward turning in many different ways. I smile looking around. This was amazing!

Just when I started to love the ride it screeches to a stop. "Awe" I whine as I stand up out of the ride. "Wanna go again?" Ty asks smiling. "Heck yeah!" I yell running to the back of the line again.

~Time skip~

We slowly walk out of the amusement park and towards the beach. There, Ty pulls out a blanket and spreads it across the sand. "Why are we stopping here?" I question looking at him. He smiles at me and pulls me to him. "There's something I wanted you to see" Ty whispers into my ear, making me smile bigger. He brings me slowly to the blanket where he sits down, pulling me into his lap.

I look around, feeling the warm breeze hit my face ever so gently. A loud boom roars overhead as I look to see colors flash across the sky. I stand up and run to the water, watching the reflection of the fireworks on the sea. "Wow" I sigh looking around with a big smile plastered on my face. I look back at Ty and see him smile. He sat farther up the beach than I thought.

"Hey gorgeous" a male voice says to my right. I turn to the voice where I see a man that sent chills up my spine. "Um. NOPE" I say attempting to walk up the shore to Ty but my arm is yanked back. "You don't walk away from me pretty lady. Your coming with me" he says pulling on my arm. "TY!" I scream seeing him talking to a girl that looked vaguely familiar. At the sound of my voice he turns but the familiar woman refuses him. He pulls away from her and darts to me as the man throws me over his shoulder. I kick and scream using all my might. "Lady stop" he demands grabbing my butt. "Yeah no!" I scream as I'm thrown to the ground.
