chapter 27

Jordan's POV****

"TY!" Adam yells, still holding me in a tight hug. Footsteps pound on the steps as he rushes down the stairs. "What happened?! Jor?" Ty asks, kneeling next to us. "Adam can you explain what's going on?" I ask, letting go of Adam then going to Ty, being pulled into his tight embrace. My shaking body is soothed by his comforting arms.

Adam recaps all that had just recently happened while I sit in Ty's arms. "You'll be alright. You're safe" Ty whispers, holding me. "So you think" TJ replies. Ty's face hardens as he looks around the room for him. "Guys!" Katherine calls, gathering the rest of our group together. "Why the yelling?" Nichole asks, yawning and rubbing her eyes.

"TJ's in the house" Katherine explains to the group. The second those words leave her mouth, TJ walks out in front of our group, pointing a gun to us. Ty stands us up quickly and hides me behind him. "Ty don't. Don't risk your life for me. People would miss you more than just plain ol' me" I say, stepping out. Ty turns and looks deep into my eyes. "Jordan I can't nor I won't live without you". I smile and lean up, kissing him.

"Well that can be arranged" TJ answers while a gunshot is heard behind me. I jump and pull away expecting to be hit or feel pain. Not a scratch. My eyes then drift to the ceiling where a small bullet hole lay. "Next one is going at you Jordan. Step away from him" TJ orders. I look at the gun then back at him. "No". TJ raises his eyebrows as I step in front of Ty. "I'm the one you want leave them be" I command, walking towards him slowly. "You're selfish, a crazy and NOT important to anyone" I say, glaring at him. "I'd shut your mouth unless you want to end up in another coma" TJ laughs. "Fine. Do it. Kill me. I don't care as long as they're safe" I reply. "As you command" TJ says, raising the gun and firing.
