With 20 talented high school students entering a school built only for extremely talented people like themselves, you'd think this would be a story of them getting along and having fun.
Nope this down right murder (no puns intended). Trapped inside...
A neatly formed list of all the evidence that has been collect as of now, events of interest have also been listed below.
1) Monokuma file #01 -
Victim - Junako Shurui Time of death - 6 am Cause of death - Junako has suffered a single stab wound to the abdomen, he also suffered a cut to his right arm and a stab to the back.
2) Junako's chart - A chart which depicted which room were open and which rooms weren't, the chart only goes up to 5 am.

3) The motive - The deadlocks cannot be opened by anyone other than Monokuma, the Mono-key would not work on any of the dorm room locks.
4) The Mono-key - Scarlet has taken the Mono-key and hidden it within the school, however, she has stated that when she checked on it the next day, it had been moved.
5) State of the dinning hall - There are indications of a fight going on in the dinning hall, gashes across tables, flipped over chairs and a trail of blood that leads to the victim.
6) Broken Monopad - A broken Monopad was found at the scene of the crime, Monokuma has confirmed that no one will be punished for the breaking of this Monopad.
7) Rocky and Akemi's statement - The pair spent the night in the same dorm room, neither of them left the dorm until the morning announcement.
8) Lock pick set - Ataeru found a set of lock picks in one of the plant pots in the despair hotel, buried in the dirt.
9) Bloody Water - Water in the sink that has blood traces through it, there also appears to be a bloody cloth on the side of the sink.
10) Stained knives - All of the knives in the kitchens rack were stained with blood, the handles have bloody hand prints on them all except for one.
11) Toshihiro's account - While he, Riku and Sainõ were cooking last night, none of the knives had been taken. But when they were washing up, he couldn't find one of the knives.
12) Bloody Towel - Found in the laundry room, it had been placed underneath a pile of students clothing. The pile was made of red t-shirts and white long sleeved shirts.
13) Strands of hair - Found in Junako's palm, they have lost their original colouring due to the bright pink blood. Tako has taken them in to try and discover the original colour.
14) Riku's analysis - Riku analysed the gashes in the tables and theorised that the marks were caused by a blade of 9 inches. Riku also mentioned that the depth of the gash shows that it was a quick slash across the tables that caused the marks. Riku also mentioned that the wound on Junako's back is the oldest.
15) Scarlet's account - Scarlet left her room at 6:30 am, she saw the cafeteria door's wide open.
16) Tantei's account - Around 2 am, Tantei left his room and checked all of the other rooms, a few people were missing from their rooms, and he saw Junako as he walked around.
17) Monokuma's account - Monokuma has claimed that all the locks apart from the lobby doors, are electronic.
18) Trainer print - Bloody foot prints were found leading towards and away from Junako's body, the blood seemed to have dried by the time the person had re-entered the dinning hall.
Special notes of information -
Junako had two coloured pens in his pocket, one green and the other red.
Kounna, Scarlet and Sora all went into the kitchen while Toshihiro, Sainõ and Riku were cooking.
Rocky and Akemi have confirmed that the dorm rooms are soundproof.
Scarlet mentioned that Sora kept . . . getting physical during dinner, to which Sora always ran off afterwards.
Hajiga didn't have his sword with him the morning of the discovery.
Drake, Toshihiro and Hoshihiko were the first three students to find the body.
