They soon reached England and Apparated directly to Newt's parents' estate in the countryside. It was a large manor made of white brick, tangled in large, beautiful growths if emerald ivy. The mountains could be seen far of in the distance, and all around was a large field. The hippogriff stalls, sounds emanating from it, were near the house. There was also a small pond with a tree.

"Woah," Tina whispered in wonder. Newt was watching as she took everything in. Her deep brown eyes wandered from the house to the stalls, and settled on the tree. She gave a satisfied smile.

"Newton! NEWTON ARTEMIS FID..." Newt's mother greeted the group half way up the red brick path as they approached the house. Her blonde hair, adorned with streaks of gray was in a loose bun, and strands of hair were falling out. Her eyes were greenish-blue, as Tina noticed, so very resemblant of Newt's. There was a sprinkle of freckles on her cheeks and nose, but they were very subtle. She caught sight of Queenie and Jacob and...Tina. She immediately recognized the face as the one her son had cut out from the newspaper and framed. Upon asking about the photo, she had been meet with the scattered glances and the madly blushing face of her youngest son. She had smiled quirkily and before leaving remarked, "Don't go gettin' married without me knowin'! I'll have your neck for it if you do." Newt had blushed impossibly harder, the dark pink quickly intensifying into a crimson red.

"I wouldn't dream of it," he said. Whether it was of marrying, or marrying without telling his mother, or marrying...or marrying Tina, Newt didn't know.

"Oh look at y'all, you're exhausted! Come in, come in, Theseus is just inside with Leta. Go get changed and we'll have tea," Mrs. Scamander quipped.

Leta? Newt looked over at Tina, the words weren't lost on her. She had visibly straightened, her hands found each other behind her back, viciously intertwining themselves. As Queenie and Jacob, and Mrs. Scamander took the lead, Newt reached out in front of him and grabbed one of Tina's hands. She spun around.

"They're engaged," he choked out. He was still clutching her hand, he was holding it, inspecting it. "I...I...right after I left New York, I came back and...and...she was here. I hadn't seen her in years."

Tina looked down at her hand that Newt was so closely examining, "Does it bother you?" she asked. It was such a simple question, yet very complicated. Newt had a hard time answering, formulating his thoughts, but Tina waited. Both of their eyes were locked on their joined hands.

"No," he said. Tina's eyes quickly jumped to his face, this had not been the answer she was expecting. His eyes were already there to meet hers though. Oh, she could melt into those pools of turquoise. "It...did...it did at first, but he's happy. Theseus I mean, I've never seen him stay with a girl for more than three months. I think he really loves her."

Tina swallowed, "Newt...do...do you..."

"No," he shook his head, not being able to hold eye contact, "not anymore."

"Oh," she whispered.

"We should..." Newt gestured with his free hand towards the front door. Tina nodded. Newt let go of her hand. She immediately missed the warmth and roughness of his calloused skin.

After they had settled down in their guest rooms they had all gathered around for tea.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Leta," Leta had greeted everyone, shaking their hands. Tina watched her carefully, setting every detail into her mind for later inspection. Leta looked much different than she had imagined, much more beautiful.

"Soon to be Scamander," Theseus interjected happily.

"Oh congratulations!" Queenie quickly said, smiling brightly.

"You must be the legilimens, Queenie is it?" Leta asked

"Yes," Queenie answered ", but I have trouble with Brits. It's the accent."

"I'm Jacob," Jacob said quickly raising his hand, momentously, before anyone could ask, "Just Jacob. I'm a no-maj as y'all like to say."

"A muggle," Newt quickly translated, looking down into his steaming mug. He sat in a large, mustard armchair. Tina looked on at him fondly.

"And you must be Tina," Theseus added. Tina looked away, surprised at the brother's knowledge of who she was, "the auror."

"Yes, I work for MACUSA," Tina answered. Theseus seemed to be inspecting her, she squirmed uncomfortably under his intense gaze.

"You duel?" he asked suddenly.

"Yes, that is part of basic auror training, Mr. Scamander," Tina answered.

"Oh call me Theseus," he said, "Could I have a go at the highly- spoken-of auror, the pride of MACUSA, soon to be head of the Major Investigative Department?"

"Oh, I wouldn't say..." Tina started.

"My brother thinks differently," Theseus stated. Newt was intently glaring at his cup, looking as if he wanted to drown in the tea within.

"Now, now Theseus, that's no way to welcome guests," Newt's father said. He had been sitting in the corner, in his leather armchair reading a newspaper. Upon first encounter Tina noticed that he was a man of little words. His silvery, brown hair and dark brown eyes matched up with Theseus'.

Tina was glaring intently at Theseus, "No, no it's okay Mr. Scamander, I'd really love to accept the offer." Newt looked up, Tina caught sight of him in her peripheral vision. A small smile had crept across his face.

"Mother, could we just use the hall?" Theseus asked. Mrs. Scamander sighed and nodded. They all walked into the entrance lobby. It was large, the floor and staircases and walls were all made of white marble. Everyone gathered 'round while Theseus and Tina took to the center of the room. They did their customary bows and then it began.

Tina fired at Theseus, and Theseus at Tina. It was a blur of color and fast motion as the two maneuvered complicatedly around each other. Newt watched Tina, her every movement, her deflection of spells, counter-attacks, and mumbled curses. He watched as she cast spells without uttering a word, and watched as her hand flew in intricate patterns around her. I love her, he thought. Newt jumped at this. I love her? What would she think? She's my friend? By golly Merlin she's beautiful. The spells were cast for many more minutes, until Theseus looked like he was starting to lose control and struggle. Right before his wand flew out of his hand though, he cast a charm on Tina. She lost balance, crashing into the wall behind her. As she did, she shot a spell, momentarily stunning him and making him fall onto the floor.

"Wow Ms. Goldstein, not bad," Theseus said, clearly impressed as they both got up, "You're a very unpredictable dueler."

"Thank you Mr. Scamander," she said dusting her pants off, "I appreciate it." Everyone clapped for them as they made their way over.

"You found yourself a special one brother," Theseus whispered passingly to Newt as he walked over to Leta. Newt blushed, opening his mouth to say something, but quickly closed it under a knowing look from his brother.

"Would you like to take a walk?" Newt asked as Tina walked over to him.

"That sounds nice," Tina answered smiling.

Hello all! Thank you for all of your reads and votes and supportive comments! I never imagined my story would have this much success, in my eye. So, I read a fanfic once where Theseus and Tina dueled, and I'm sure there are more. I loved it, but I decided I wanted to write something of the sort my own way. You'll see that a lot in this book, such as the patronus scene previously. This book is like a collection of ideas from the uncountable number of fanfics I've read, all mushed together with my style sprinkled on top! So, I hope you are enjoying and stay tuned for more!
