A date at the park [6]

7:30 pm
Daniel's house, then the local park.

"Dani, can I borrow one of your hoodies? It's kind of cold tonight and you said to dress warm but comfortable," Zachary asked, walking into Daniel's room.

Daniel was standing there shirtless with his black ripped jeans on, and his v-line was showing. Zach noticed it was actually really hot, even hotter in person.

"Yeah sure, my closet is over there," Daniel said pointing, "just look and see if there's one you like. You can keep it actually."

Zachary walked up to Daniel's walk-in closet and instantly was drawn to a baby blue pullover hoodie. He grabbed it and pulled it on over top of his new rose t-shirt.

"Thanks Daniel, I'm going to go finish getting ready."

"Ok, I'll be done soon," Daniel walked up to Zach and kissed him on the forehead.

Zachary blushed and walked out of the room with a smile on his face. When he entered the safety of his room, a small squeal escaped his lips.

He walked up to the full-length mirror and fixed his hair. Adding a bit of gel to get it just the right way. He wanted to look perfect for the date. Zach finished his look with chapstick- since his lips are so crusty- and a tad bit of lip gloss.

Daniel knocked on Zachary's door, not wanting to barge in, "hey Zachy, are you ready?"

"Yeah you can come in," Zach said as he slipped on his pair of white slip-on vans. Daniel walked in and stared at Zachary in awe.

"Holy shit," he mumbled. Zach heard him and raised an eyebrow. "Oh my gosh, Zachy I'm not being mean I promise! It's just, you look fucking amazing."

Zachary blushed a shade of beet red, "oh my god Daniel. You are the sweetest cutest human being I've ever met and that's an unbiased opinion."

Daniel smiled at Zach, "and you Zachy are the sweetest cutest human being I've ever met and that's my unbiased opinion. Now let's go, right now is the perfect time to get there."

"Where are we even going? I hate secrets and surprises." Zachary whined. He's been trying to find out where the date was going to be all day.

"Zachy, I already told you. It's a surprise and if I tell you, it won't be a surprise anymore. It will just be boring." Daniel chuckled at Zach's impatience.

On the way out the door, Daniel grabbed a blanket and fake candles, since he didn't want to start a fire or burn himself or Zachary. Once him and Zach were out the door, he locked it and got in the car, excited for the date.

Zach couldn't see through the cloth of his blindfold, but he felt Daniel lead him down something that was like a hill.

"Stay here," Daniel said before running back to the car to grab the blankets and candles, "I'll be right back. Do not take off the blindfold."

This is it, Zachary thought. This is the moment that Daniel Seavey finally realizes he doesn't like me, and he ditches me in the middle of nowhere and pretends I ran away from the stress of hanging out with someone famous.

Zach spent the two minutes that Daniel was gone, worrying about how Daniel probably secretly hates him and wants nothing to do with him. He was relieved when he heard Daniel come back.

Once Daniel had set up the blanket and candles, it was past sunset and the sky was completely black other than the millions of stars twinkling in the night sky.

He walked up behind Zachary and slowly undid his blindfold. It fell the the ground, and Zach looked up at the sky. He was in awe, Daniel had brought him to a park at night to watch the stars while they lay on a blanket.

Daniel grabbed Zach's hand, and led him to the blanket. Once Zachary had laid down, Daniel laid beside him; his hand finding Zach's once again in the candlelight.

"Daniel it's," Zachary paused, at a loss for words, "it's so beautiful. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen."

"It really is. But nothing can compare to your beauty, inside and out. You're one of the most beautiful people I've ever met, and that's being compared to my mom." Everybody knew Daniel was a momma's boy and nobody ever compared to Keri Seavey.

Zach cuddled in closer to Daniel, not letting go of his soft, warm hands. He rested his head on Daniel's shoulder, and looked up at the sky.

"Thank you Daniel, for everything. This has truly been a one of a kind experience and the summer isn't even close to being over." Zachary whispered.

and after that, Zach found himself falling in love for the older boy on the right side of him.

So this is literally one of my dream dates.
Like, can you imagine watching the stars with the Daniel Seavey.
Or even just with the person you love?
That'd be the shit.
Also, bird box vibes. 😡
