"C'mon Zachy," Daniel whined, "the party starts soon why aren't you ready yet?"

Zach felt embarrassed for the reason he didn't want to go, "um, I don't really, i uhh..."

"Zachy, tell me what's wrong. You never miss out on an opportunity to rock one of my hoodies in those jeans of yours that make your ass look hella fine."

"Ugh fine....." Zachary gave in, he always did for Daniel, "tonight, it's going to be our first ever official outing and I'm just nervous that I'm not going to make a good impression. Oh god Daniel what if they hate me?" Zach started freaking out.

"Love, they won't hate you. They will probably love you. I mean, what's not to love? You're the literal definition of perfect." Daniel walked up to Zachary and grabbed his waist.

"I really hope you're right, I'm so nervous. I guess it will be easier on my anxiety since I'll be with you and that's the only thing that matters. I love you."

"I love you too Zachy. Now c'mon I have the perfect hoodie that will match those hot ass jeans you're wearing." Daniel dragged Zach to the closet and threw a pastel purple hoodie at him.

"Daniel this one is so pretty! Why haven't you worn it before?" Zachary was obsessing over the hoodie.

Daniel giggled, "I was saving it for a special occasion and I think this is the perfect time to whip this bad boy out." Zach rolled his eyes and smiled at Daniel.

When the two arrived at the party hand in hand, all eyes were on them. Jack, already drunk, walked up to the pair with a drink in his hand.

"Aye! The lovebirds were able to make it! Nice to see you again Zander, you too giraffe!"

Daniel whispered in Zachary's ear, "don't worry, sober Jack knows your name is Zach."

"Yo you guys want a drink? We've got the good shit man." Corbyn asked, walking up to them with Christina on his arm.

"I'll have a martini," Daniel said, "what would you like Zachy?"

"Um, I'll have a Manhattan please." Zach moved closer to Daniel's side, feeling put out of place at the crazy party where the only people he really knew were Christina and Daniel.

As Daniel and Corbyn went to get the drinks, Zachary finally got the chance to talk to Christina about everything that was going on in their lives.

"So, you and Seavey huh? What did I tell you Mr. Loverboy? Men can't resist you. I'm happy for you 'zachy'."

"Hey, what about you and Mr. Besson huh? I seen you hanging off his arm like a damn queen. You get it girl! And don't make fun of my pet name, I think it's cute."

Zach and Christina laughed and hugged, "Ugh, I missed you Zach! I was stoked to tell you about me and Corbyn. I feel like I haven't seen you in forever."

"Same! When me and Daniel got together I was thinking 'shit! I've gotta tell Chrissy.' I haven't seen you in like a whole ass month."

Daniel and Corbyn returned with the drinks and the two couples went their separate ways. Zach and Daniel went to the dance floor.

"Sweetheart I'm so happy that I came tonight. I was so nervous but everybody that I've met so far has been so nice to me!"

Count on me by Bruno Mars came on and the two boys started dancing, Zachary started kissing Daniel's neck so it looked like he was only resting his head on Daniel's shoulder.

"I told you they would love you. You just radiate this really joyful vibe that makes everyone want to be around you. Why do you think I hardly ever leave your side?"

Zach looked up at Daniel and smiled. He was feeling beyond grateful for the beautiful man standing in front of him. In the moment, he kissed Daniel in front of everybody with a surge of confidence.

It was in that moment, Zachary realized he had just kissed Daniel in front of everyone and there's no hiding them any longer.
