SURREY, LITTLE WINGING. 4 PRIVET DRIVE.
Y/n and Harry slept on the same small bed downstairs, well not downstairs but underneath the stairs, in a cupboard. They've lived like this for years, ever since they were left on the doorstep of this house. The bedsheets were thin and the temperature in the room was always cold, repeatedly trying to reach the quilt to their chins.
It was early in the morning and dust began to fall from the ceiling landing inside Y/n's and Harry's mouth, due to the large stomping Dudley Dursley caused when jumping against the staircase to grab their attention and wake them up.
"Wake up cousins! We're going to the zoo!" Dudley yelled loudly, jumping on the stairscase, y/n coughed, sitting herself up then shaking Harry awake as they both heard dudleys footsteps rush to the bottom of the stairs. She opened the door, startling the overweight boy only for Dudley to smirk and pushed her back inside the cupboard, shutting the door and running away.
She jumped again and growled at her cousin Dudley Dursley, the most whiniest person she's met. He squinnied until he got what he wanted from his parents - His hair was black and scruffy, his eyes were round and a deep shade of brown. His face was oval and his body wasn't the slimmest, he was praised by his parents, in their eyes it'd be a sin if they ever heard their beautiful, precious Dudleykins belly rumble.
Mr and Mrs Dursley were just as bad. Vernon Dursley was one big man, he worked for his own drilling company which had high wages for his family, Petunia Dursley was a rather skinny but tall woman, her neck extended so tall that she was able to spy on the neighbours over the garden fence. The parents were extremely loving in towards Dudley, who enjoyed being spoilt, with two bedrooms and as much food as he demanded. Not one bit of time was wasted on Y/n and Harry's behalf.
The family lived at 4 privet drive in Surrey, little winging, where they grew to love their home filled with terrible flower patterns on every wall of the house and photos frames of their only son Dudley and not even one of the siblings Harry and y/n.
The two got up and entered the kitchen still in their pyjamas, well dudleys old clothes that's why they were so loose and baggy on their tiny figures but still wore them as their own clothes. Harry was a scrawny eleven year old boy who had inherited his fathers untidy Raven hair and his mother swimming emerald eyes that were seen through his thick round lens' as well as a lightning bolt shaped scar on the right side of his forehead, which he found out came from when his parents died in a car crash. Y/n was his twin, well not exactly their birthdays were months apart and didn't have a spec of similarity on their face. She was a golden blonde with e/c eyes that seemed to sparkle all the time and was just as scrawny as her brother.
Mrs Dursley was with the birthday boy, smothering him with kisses which he took dismissively. Y/n went over to the coffee machine like she did every morning whilst Harry went over to the stove and finished off Petunias cooking, pulling the pan off the stove to flop strips of bacon onto plates.
"Hurry up girl, bring my coffee already!" Vernon ordered y/n she rolled her eyes and sighed heavily pouring the coffee in the cup, she handed it to him which he snatched off and slurped loudly.
"How many presents are there?" Dudley asked after looking at the gifts neatly wrapped for himself, turning to his father as y/n placed the plates onto the dining table where Vernon already sat and Harry put bacon and hashbrowns on them.
