SCOTLAND, HOGWARTS GROUNDS. THE QUIDDITCH PITCH.
the ignited object sat besides her wrist, attempting to flick the burning embers in order for it to not poke at her skin and burn at it, meanwhile Hagrid's round face was filled with a look of curiosity and anger, just behind his large bushy beard and brows.
"what's that- y/n are yer smoking?" he questioned, the handful of deceased ferrets pointed towards her, her eyes widened as a thick, uneasy lump filled in her throat, making her throat unbearable to breathe through.
"no its my breathe-" she lied immediately, the winter brushed against her eyelashes, a fresh layer of water slid against her eyes when she blinked over to Hagrid.
"Don't try trick me Black, i know what a cigarette looks like," the tall man folded his arms. holding the animals over one arm as an eyebrow raised.
"I wasn't.." she paused, her eyes flicked to the ground as she flicked the cig to that direction she looked in, stepping on it with a gentle twist to take out the burning end. "why? what detentions will you give me?" she questioned, attempting to gulp that lump sat in her throat.
"none i wont pressure you with that," he told gently, taking three large steps to stand opposite the teenager.
Words sat at her tongue however none dared to push past her lips. She knew the consequences of smoking, she knew the side affects, she dealt with withdrawal before and it wasn't fun. She wanted to get rid of the feeling so bad, the feeling of grief, its been with her since she could remember and she just beg for it to be gone, her coping was to smoke, but being caught smoking is just another level of worry that she never began to thought of.
"lets go to the hut and talk about it, get you a nice cup of tea in this weather," he reassured the girl, his hand tapped her right shoulder, gently patting it as they swayed to the opposite direction of the pitch and walked towards his small home.

"go on sit down, put your cigarettes on the table and whatever you use to light it, ill boil the kettle," the towering man told. his ferrets chucked outside to the pumpkin patch beside beside of his window, removing his long brown coat other and soothed out his red woollen jumper with strays of the fabric hanging by the hem and on its sleeves, the half-giant took out a small mug from his off-centre cupboard, placing a full kettle onto his fireplace, leaving for the water to heat. "two sugars right?" he asked the girl.
"yeah," bluntly, she responded. Doing as she was told, her cigarette packet was placed on the table with a white, clipper lighter sat beside it, the metal that she had to stroke to light the object up would tear a few layers of her thumb, which she seemed to notice due to the amount of time she'd spent picking at the flaky ends. Her coat sat beside her hips as her black and blonde hairs were constantly brushed away from her face, her nails repeatedly scraping at her dead skin with her lips pursed tightly.
Meanwhile, Hagrid, working away to place the teabag and sugars into the mug, the boiled water was poured in with the milk and stirred gently, the spoon used to removed the teabag as he placed his spoon beside the mug, using his two fingers to loop the mug handle and turn on his heel.
"here you are," he told cheerily.
"thanks," was all she said as the mug was placed across her, Hagrid grunted as he took a seat in his large red velvet armchair that sat alongside y/n's seat.
