SCOTLAND, HOGWARTS GROUNDS.          THE GREAT HALL.

"Oh Neville I can't wait, final task and then it's all over, this year will be over and we'll be a year away from leaving school," she sighed, almost jumping as the two were heading up towards the last stadium they'd have to be placed inside of. Neville chuckled.

"I brought my scarf, would you like it?" He asked, noticing y/n only wore her t-shirt out along with her loose baggy jeans with her boots. She nodded excitedly.

"Oh yes please, I'm a bit silly for not bringing a coat for the summertime breeze," she said, allowing to here Nevilles small chuckled, unravelling his scarf around his neck to nicely do it up for her neck.

"Wait this one? But you was just wearing it?" She questioned, he only nodded.

"Yeah, but I got my huge jacket grandma gave me, you can have this for now," he spoke, y/n smiled up at him.

"Thank you," she said and began to lead themselves towards the crowds of students that lead to the large maze which stood proudly against the quidditch pitch, long hedges that form plenty of long pattern of pathways for the four champions to chase each other inside, a thin layer of mist lingered inside of it, not leaving into the small row of seats just outside with few students to sit on.

"Silence!" Dumbledore's voice projected across the grounds, everybody seated back down. Hermione, Ron and Ginny sat a row behind as a bunch of snobby Durmstrangs he'd to get a seat together, leading Neville and y/n to sit together In front of them. "Welcome to the final task of the Triwizard tournament, to finish the game, professor moody, placed the cup deep within the maze, only he knows the exact whereabouts. Now as Mr. Diggory and Mr. Potter tied for first position they will be first to enter, then followed by Mr. Krum and Miss. Delacour," cheers began to outburst for various areas, y/n stood up whooping for Fleur and Harry - Neville, Hermione, Ginny and Ron quickly joined along, until Dumbledore's sign of 'stop' was shown. "Now on the count of three! One, two-" he counted until a colossal blast was heard from the side, Argus Filch looked to the headmaster and put his hands up in self defence.

"Sorry," he apologised, Dumbledore rolled his eyes and walked away to the teachers podium.

Minutes had automatically gone by, with the band still blasting music from the auditorium to entertain the audience who were quickly growing bored. excitement rose when the kids found Fleur being returned from the maze, her blue tracksuit covered with dirt and remains of leaves was stuck inside her hair - Gabriella stuck by her sister meanwhile both y/n's friends as well as Fleurs gave well deserved cheers for the mortified and quivering girl. Y/n's hand seemed to tingle and itch randomly, her finger nails seemed to scratch the same knuckle, over and over again as her legs bounced rapidly. Neville took notice to this.

"You cold?" He asked, as y/n looked up and quickly shook her head. "Sure you don't want some gloves, looks like you're gonna pierce a hole into your skin," he joked as the corners of her lips twisted upwards but fell back down.

"No, just nervous that's all," she spoke, Neville furrowed his brows.

"Thought you was excited?" He questioned only for y/n to let out a half hearted laugh.
