SCOTLAND, HOGWARTS SCHOOL. GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM.
The Hogwarts express stopped off back in London, allowing children to board onto the Kings Cross Station platform and meet their parents again. Y/n walked beside Neville, Ron, Ginny and Harry. The gingers found their parents, instantly guiding himself, Ginny and Harry towards them.
"oi, y/n, my mum wants you as well come over quickly to see her," Ron poke at Y/n's arm, dragging Neville with her, the small group trotted over to where Molly and Arthur stood.
"Y/n, dear, I heard you're saying with Neville for this Christmas break so what I did was made you present a bit earlier than the others," Mrs Weasley told the girl, y/n lit up in response up to the older ginger woman.
"Oh, thank you so much Mrs. Weasley!" She thanked, hugging the woman, planting a kiss on her cheek. Molly looked delighted, her smile brighter than a star.
"Yes, now you open it on Christmas Day, you'll remember that right?" Molly asked y/n who only nodded in response, giving the ginger woman another hug, offering Mr. Weasley a hug afterwards.
"See you soon, y/n, and you Neville," Arthur shook at y/n's hand, offering his hand out to Neville too, which the tall boy gingerly shook. "Take care will you?" He asked them both to which they happily nodded.
"Of course Mr. Weasley," y/n told him, watching as the family walked down out of the train station. Harry waved goodbye to y/n and Neville which they happily returned.
"Neville?" An old voice called out from behind them. "Ah y/n, nice to see you again, it's a delight to have you round for the Christmas holidays," Neville's grandmother told y/n. A small beret rested against the woman's head, silver strands of hair rolled at the side of her head, a purple Victorian coat strapped around the woman's waist with a matching purple knee length skirt and shin high black leather boots.
"It's my pleasure Mrs. Longbottom," Y/n responded to the woman.
"i told you to call me Augusta dear, no Mrs. Longbottom in my house, alright?" she paused. "Both have you things on you now, yes?" Neville's grandmother asked, the two children nodded as the only thing they had brung back was their backpacks, stuffed with few clothes inside and wands were in hand. "Alright, we'll apperate home, take my arm you two," the elderly woman ordered, as both teens held onto her arm sucked their breath.
a CRACK rung in their ears, their feet lifted up from the train station, their bodies warped and morphed until their shoes landed again, dizziness washed over the teens, causing y/n to hurl over and gag, Neville seemed immune to the dizzy effect it had, it's how he and his grandmother mostly transported.
Neville waited for y/n patiently to move over from the side effects, leading her towards the front door, allowing y/n to observe the small home. Seemed like a regular muggle home, but as you head inside a small house elf waited on the other side of the door, along with owls down the end of the corridor in the living room. It was a muggle home, but it was enchanted with magical belongings.
"Mistress and master Longbottom, Winnie is pleased to see you again," a female house elf told them, her eyes wide and crows legs grew at the corner of her eyes once she smiled. "And a guest! Winnie will prepare tea!" Winnie exclaimed, rushing off the the next room in the corridor.
